في الساعات الأخيرة قبل إغلاق فترة الانتقالات الاستثنائية الخاصة بكأس العالم للأندية، دخل نادي الهلال في مفاوضات جادة لضم النجم الفرنسي نغولو كانتي من غريمه التقليدي الاتحاد، وذلك على سبيل الإعارة قصيرة الأمد، وفقاً لتقرير على شبكة «The Athletic».
ونقلت الصحيفة أنه رغم أن الاتفاق لم يُبرم بعد، إلا أن الأجواء تُشير إلى تفاؤل كبير بإمكانية إتمام هذه الصفقة الاستثنائية.
ولم يعلن الهلال حتى ظهر اليوم وقبل ساعات من إغلاق سوق الانتقالات المؤقتة أي صفقة أجنبية، وسط غضب من جماهيره، بينما أعلن قبل أيام تعيين سيمون إنزاغي مديراً فنياً للفريق قادماً من إنتر ميلان الإيطالي. ويضم «الهلال» كوكبة من اللاعبين الأوروبيين مثل روبن نيفيز وألكسندر ميتروفيتش، وبالطبع زميل كانتي السابق في تشيلسي السنغالي خاليدو كوليب.
In the final hours before the closure of the exceptional transfer window for the FIFA Club World Cup, Al-Hilal club entered serious negotiations to acquire French star N'Golo Kanté from their traditional rival Al-Ittihad, on a short-term loan, according to a report from "The Athletic."
The newspaper reported that although the agreement has not yet been finalized, the atmosphere indicates a great deal of optimism regarding the possibility of completing this exceptional deal.
Al-Hilal has not announced any foreign signings as of this afternoon, just hours before the temporary transfer market closes, amid anger from its fans, while it announced a few days ago the appointment of Simone Inzaghi as the team's head coach coming from Italian Inter Milan. Al-Hilal boasts a group of European players such as Ruben Neves and Aleksandar Mitrović, and of course Kanté's former Chelsea teammate, Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly.
