ساند النجم الدولي السابق هتان باهبري ونجله سلطان المنتخب السعودي في مواجهة البحرين من منصة استاد البحرين الدولي، حيث نجح الأخضر في تحقيق الانتصار بهدفين مقابل لا شيء، سجلهما مصعب الجوير، وعبدالرحمن العبود، ضمن مباريات الجولة التاسعة من التصفيات الآسيوية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026 في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
وأكد هتان باهبري أن المنتخب السعودي قادر على الوصول لمونديال 2026، مبيناً أن اللاعبين نجحوا في تحقيق الفوز على البحرين، وبمشيئة الله سيفوزون على أستراليا، ولن يفرط الأخضر في فرصة التأهل لكأس العالم القادمة.
وأوضح باهبري أن المدرب رينارد لديه القدرة والخبرة التدريبية التي ستقود الأخضر للوصول للمونديال القادم، كما نجح معه منتخبنا الوطني في التأهل لكأس العالم 2022 في قطر.

The former international star Hattan Bahbri and his son Sultan supported the Saudi national team in their match against Bahrain from the stands of the Bahrain International Stadium, where the Green Team succeeded in achieving victory with a score of two goals to none, scored by Musab Al-Juwair and Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, as part of the ninth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Hattan Bahbri confirmed that the Saudi national team is capable of reaching the 2026 World Cup, stating that the players succeeded in winning against Bahrain, and God willing, they will win against Australia, and the Green Team will not miss the opportunity to qualify for the upcoming World Cup.
Bahbri explained that coach Renard has the ability and coaching experience that will lead the Green Team to reach the next World Cup, as our national team successfully qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
