واصل بطل دوري روشن السعودي (الاتحاد) سلسلة انتصاراته رغم حسمه اللقب في الجولة الماضية، إذ تفوق اليوم على مضيّفه الشباب بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي الشباب بالرياض، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الـ33 من دوري روشن للمحترفين.
لم تمر سوى 28 ثانية من انطلاقة اللقاء حتى وضع موسى ديابي نجم الاتحاد بصمته التهديفية الأولى، إذ تلقى تمريرة ذكية من فواز الصقور لينطلق بالكرة ويسددها في الزاوية العليا على يمين الحارس جيورجي بوشكان هدفاً أول للاتحاد، وحاول الشباب العودة للقاء وسدد مصعب الجوير كرة أرضية تصدى لها الحارس الشاب حامد الشنقيطي وأبعدها لركلة زاوية، ووسط الضغط الشبابي مرر بيرغوين من منتصف الملعب كرة طويلة لزميله موسى ديابي الذي واجه الحارس ووضع الكرة من فوقه هدفاً ثانياً له ولفريقه (د:34)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع من الشوط الأول تلقى كاراسكو كرة طويلة من دانيل بودينسي ليسيطر على الكرة ويسددها أرضية هدفاً أول للشباب (د:45+3)، وحاول الشباب تعديل النتيجة في الشوط الثاني، ومن هجمة شبابية خطف قائد الاتحاد نغولو كانتي الكرة وانطلق بها من منتصف ملعب فريقه، وقبل وصوله لمنطقة الجزاء الشبابية مرر الكرة لزميله ستفين بيرغوين الذي سددها مباشرةً على يسار الحارس بوشكان هدفاً ثالثاً للاتحاد (د:58)، وعاد الشباب للسيطرة مجدداً على الملعب فيما اعتمد الاتحاد على الهجمات المرتدة، وتمكن من إحراز هدف رابع لكن مصيدة التسلل كانت بالمرصاد لموسى ديابي قبل أن تصل الكرة لبيرغوين، ومن عرضية مميزة من دانيل بودينسي أحرز كريستيان جوانكا الهدف الثاني للشباب (د:67)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الاتحاد على الشباب بثلاثة أهداف لهدفين.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الاتحاد فوزه الـ25 ويصل للنقطة الـ80 متربعاً على صدارة الترتيب، فيما تلقى الشباب الخسارة العاشرة وتجمد رصيده عند 57 نقطة في المركز السادس، وفي الجولة القادمة (الختامية) سيستضيف الاتحاد نظيره ضمك في لقاء التتويج باللقب، فيما يلتقي الشباب مضيّفه الفيحاء.

The Saudi Pro League champion (Al-Ittihad) continued its winning streak despite having secured the title in the previous round, as they defeated their hosts Al-Shabab by three goals to two in the match held at Al-Shabab Club's stadium in Riyadh, as part of the 33rd round of the Saudi Pro League.
It took only 28 seconds from the start of the match for Al-Ittihad star Moussa Diaby to make his first scoring mark, as he received a clever pass from Fawaz Al-Suqoor, took the ball, and shot it into the upper corner to the right of goalkeeper Giorgi Bushkan, scoring the first goal for Al-Ittihad. Al-Shabab tried to get back into the match, and Musab Al-Juwair attempted a ground shot that was saved by young goalkeeper Hamid Al-Shanqeeti, who deflected it for a corner kick. Amidst the pressure from Al-Shabab, Bergwijn passed a long ball from the midfield to his teammate Moussa Diaby, who faced the goalkeeper and lifted the ball over him for a second goal for him and his team (34’). In stoppage time of the first half, Carrasco received a long ball from Daniel Podence, controlled it, and shot it low for Al-Shabab's first goal (45+3’). Al-Shabab attempted to equalize in the second half, and from a youthful attack, Al-Ittihad captain N'Golo Kanté intercepted the ball and launched it from the midfield. Just before reaching the Al-Shabab penalty area, he passed the ball to his teammate Steven Bergwijn, who shot it directly to the left of goalkeeper Bushkan for Al-Ittihad's third goal (58’). Al-Shabab regained control of the field while Al-Ittihad relied on counter-attacks, managing to score a fourth goal, but the offside trap caught Moussa Diaby before the ball reached Bergwijn. From a superb cross by Daniel Podence, Cristian Guanca scored Al-Shabab's second goal (67’), ending the match with Al-Ittihad defeating Al-Shabab by three goals to two.
With this result, Al-Ittihad achieves its 25th victory and reaches 80 points, sitting at the top of the standings, while Al-Shabab suffers its tenth loss, remaining at 57 points in sixth place. In the upcoming (final) round, Al-Ittihad will host Damak in the title celebration match, while Al-Shabab will face their hosts Al-Fayha.
