The organizing committee of the school league has announced the opening of registration for the seventh edition of the league for the new season, from October 18 to November 12, 2026.
The league is held under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, and is organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and the Saudi School Sports Federation.
The aim is to expand the base of football participation, discover national talents at an early age, and instill values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, in addition to providing a safe and organized competitive environment to develop the participants' abilities.
The new season will witness the participation of 20,000 school teams competing in 120,000 matches across 47 cities and governorates, within a competition that spans six months, during which each team will play 12 matches, contributing to increased opportunities for regular play and raising the technical level.
The competitions include four age categories for boys and girls: under 9 years, under 12 years, under 13 years, and under 15 years.
The league goes through four stages: starting with the internal championship at the school level, followed by the general championship at the city and governorate level on December 6, 2026, then the regional championship for the under 15 category in May 2027, culminating in the Kingdom Championship for the elite in June 2027 with the participation of teams qualified for the finals.
The committee clarified that registration is done through the league's website by teachers and school officials, urging the completion of procedures before the registration deadline on November 12.
