حسم الويلزي آرتشي أوين صدارة السباق الثاني من الجولة الثانية لبطولة فورمولا 4 السعودية 2026، المعتمدة من الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات (FIA)، والتي أقيمت على حلبة كورنيش جدة تحت الإشراف الرياضي للاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية.
وشهد السباق مشاركة 15 سائقاً، تمكن من خلالها الويلزي آرتشي أوين من الحصول على المركز الأول، متقدماً بفارق 0.592 جزء من الثانية على النمساوي مارلون باير الذي حل ثانياً، فيما جاء السنغافوري إسحاق سياه في المركز الثالث بفارق ثانية و639 جزءاً من الثانية عن المتصدر.
وقد شهدت اللفات الأولى من السباق تحولات سريعة في مراكز المقدمة؛ بعدما بدأ آرتشي أوين مبكراً في مطاردة الصدارة، فتجاوز إسحاق سياه في اللفة الثالثة وانتزع المركز الثاني، قبل أن تدخل سيارة الأمان في اللفة الرابعة. ومع استئناف السباق، استغل أوين الفرصة وضغط مباشرة على مارلون باير، ونجح في تجاوزه وخطف الصدارة، ليضع حداً لطموح النمساوي في مواصلة سلسلة انتصاراته وتحقيق فوزه الثاني على التوالي والثالث في البطولة.
وشهدت التصفيات التأهيلية الثانية، التي أقيمت عصر أمس (الخميس)، تقارباً واضحاً في الأزمنة؛ حيث تصدر مارلون باير الترتيب بعدما سجل أسرع زمن بلغ 2:07.291 دقيقة، متقدماً بفارق 0.002 ثانية على إسحاق سياه الذي حل ثانياً، وجاء آرتشي أوين في المركز الثالث، يليه أمين كارا عثمان رابعاً، فيما أكمل هاريسون ماكي قائمة الخمسة الأوائل.

وتعود منافسات بطولة فورمولا 4 السعودية إلى حلبة كورنيش جدة مع انطلاق الجولة الثالثة (السبت) 31 أكتوبر، والتي تستمر حتى (الإثنين) 2 نوفمبر، ضمن الجولات الأربع الأولى التي تستضيفها جدة، قبل انتقال البطولة إلى حلبة لوسيل الدولية في قطر خلال ديسمبر القادم.
Welsh driver Archie Owen clinched the top spot in the second race of the second round of the Saudi Formula 4 Championship 2026, sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), which took place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit under the sports supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.
The race saw the participation of 15 drivers, during which Welshman Archie Owen secured first place, finishing 0.592 seconds ahead of Austrian Marlon Bayer, who came in second, while Singaporean Isaac Siah took third place, finishing one second and 639 milliseconds behind the leader.
The early laps of the race witnessed rapid changes in the lead positions; Archie Owen started early in his pursuit of the lead, overtaking Isaac Siah on the third lap to take second place, before the safety car was deployed on the fourth lap. When the race resumed, Owen seized the opportunity and immediately pressured Marlon Bayer, successfully overtaking him to take the lead, putting an end to the Austrian's ambitions of continuing his winning streak and achieving his second consecutive victory and third in the championship.
The second qualifying session, held yesterday afternoon (Thursday), showed a clear closeness in times; Marlon Bayer topped the standings after recording the fastest time of 2:07.291 minutes, just 0.002 seconds ahead of Isaac Siah in second place, while Archie Owen came in third, followed by Ameen Kara Othman in fourth, and Harrison Mackie rounding out the top five.

The Saudi Formula 4 Championship returns to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit with the start of the third round on Saturday, October 31, which will continue until Monday, November 2, as part of the first four rounds hosted in Jeddah, before the championship moves to the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar next December.
