أعلن منتخب مصر، اليوم (الأحد)، استبعاد مدافع نيس الفرنسي محمد عبدالمنعم من القائمة الرسمية لخوض مباراة جنوب السودان المقررة (الثلاثاء) القادم، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من التصفيات المؤهلة إلى كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2027.
سبب الاستبعاد
وقال مدير منتخب مصر إبراهيم حسن، إنه تقرر خروج محمد عبدالمنعم من القائمة المسافرة ظهر اليوم إلى جنوب السودان، بسبب إجراء اللاعب عملية الرباط الصليبي مسبقاً، والتحذيرات الطبية من اللعب على أرضية ملعب مباراة جنوب السودان المصنوعة من النجيل الصناعي «الترتان»، بناءً على التقرير الطبي لناديه نيس الفرنسي.
وكان الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم قد أعلن أمس أن الجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر بقيادة حسام حسن، اتفق مع قائد المنتخب محمد صلاح قبل مباراة أنغولا على عدم خوض مباراة جنوب السودان، حفاظاً عليه بسبب أرضية الملعب.
صلاح «غاضب»
وظهرت علامات الغضب والدهشة على وجه صلاح بعد استبداله المبكر أمام أنغولا، فيما أكد حسام حسن أن استبدال نجم طرابزون التركي جاء لأسباب فنية، وفقاً لمتطلبات وسير المباراة.
انطلاقة «مُحبطة»
واستهل منتخب مصر مشواره في التصفيات الأفريقية بتعادل سلبي مع أنغولا، في المباراة التي جمعتهما الجمعة الماضي على استاد القاهرة الدولي.
The Egyptian national team announced today (Sunday) the exclusion of Nice defender Mohamed Abdelmonem from the official list for the match against South Sudan scheduled for next (Tuesday), as part of the second round of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
Reason for Exclusion
Egypt's national team director Ibrahim Hassan stated that it was decided to exclude Mohamed Abdelmonem from the traveling list this afternoon to South Sudan, due to the player having previously undergone an ACL surgery, and medical warnings against playing on the artificial turf of the South Sudan match, based on the medical report from his club, Nice.
The Egyptian Football Association announced yesterday that the technical staff of the Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, agreed with team captain Mohamed Salah before the Angola match not to play in the South Sudan match, to protect him due to the condition of the pitch.
Salah "Angry"
Signs of anger and surprise appeared on Salah's face after his early substitution against Angola, while Hossam Hassan confirmed that the substitution of the Trabzonspor star was for tactical reasons, according to the requirements and flow of the match.
Disappointing Start
The Egyptian national team began its journey in the African qualifiers with a goalless draw against Angola in the match that took place last Friday at the Cairo International Stadium.
