كشف تقرير صحفي أزمة تُهدد تولي أندريا بيرلو تدريب منتخب إيطاليا، خلفاً لجينارو جاتوزو، الذي رحل عقب فشل المنتخب في التأهل إلى كأس العالم 2026.
ورغم الأنباء التي تحدثت عن موافقة بيرلو، المدير الفني الحالي لنادي يونايتد إف سي الإماراتي، على قيادة منتخب إيطاليا بعد اعتذار بيب غوارديولا وكارلو أنشيلوتي، فإن موقع «فوتبول إيطاليا» ذكر أن فرصه في تولي المهمة تراجعت خلال الساعات الماضية، بسبب الجدل الواسع حول دوره كسفير عالمي لشركة مراهنات روسية، وهو ما يتعارض مع المصالح السياسية للدولة.
الاتحاد الإيطالي يبحث عن بدائل
وأضاف التقرير أن الاتحاد الإيطالي بدأ البحث عن بدائل أخرى، إذ يبرز كل من أنطونيو كونتي وروبرتو مانشيني وستيفانو بيولي ورافاييل بالادينو ضمن قائمة المرشحين لتولي المهمة.
