أزمة صحية
وأوضح خلال حديثه على هامش تكريمه في المهرجان القومي للمسرح أن الفريق الطبي أوصاه بالامتناع التام عن الحديث أو المشاركة في أي فعالية عامة، مؤكداً أن أي مجهود صوتي خلال تلك المرحلة كان من الممكن أن يؤثر على نتائج الجراحة ويؤخر تعافيه.

ورغم هذه التعليمات الصارمة، قرر أحمد عبدالعزيز حضور حفل افتتاح المهرجان القومي للمسرح المصري وتسلم درع تكريمه، تقديراً للدعوة التي وجهها إليه رئيس المهرجان الفنان محمد رياض، واعتزازاً بالمكانة الخاصة التي يحتلها المسرح في مسيرته الفنية.
وأشار إلى أن هذا التكريم يحمل قيمة استثنائية بالنسبة له لذلك فضل أن يكون حاضراً بنفسه رغم معاناته الصحية وصعوبة التحدث ليشارك الجمهور وزملاءه هذه اللحظة المهمة.

He explained during his talk on the sidelines of his honoring at the National Theater Festival that the medical team advised him to completely refrain from speaking or participating in any public events, emphasizing that any vocal effort during that stage could have affected the results of the surgery and delayed his recovery.

Despite these strict instructions, Ahmed Abdelaziz decided to attend the opening ceremony of the National Egyptian Theater Festival and receive his honorary shield, in appreciation of the invitation extended to him by the festival's president, artist Mohamed Riyad, and out of pride for the special status that theater holds in his artistic journey.
He noted that this honor carries exceptional value for him, which is why he preferred to be present himself despite his health struggles and the difficulty of speaking, to share this important moment with the audience and his colleagues.
