وقّع الحارس الدولي عبدالقدوس عطية عقد انتقاله إلى نادي العلا خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، قادماً من صفوف التعاون، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز خيارات الفريق الفنية قبل انطلاق منافسات الموسم الجديد.
وجاءت الصفقة بعد مفاوضات مكثفة بين إدارة العلا ونظيرتها في التعاون، انتهت إلى اتفاق نهائي يقضي بانتقال الحارس صاحب الخبرة إلى صفوف الفريق، في إطار سعي النادي لتدعيم مركز حراسة المرمى عقب رحيل الحارس الدولي محمد العويس.
ويُعد عبدالقدوس عطية من الأسماء المميزة في مركز الحراسة، ويمتلك تجربة طويلة في الملاعب السعودية، بعدما مثّل عدداً من الأندية، من بينها الوحدة والعدالة والفيحاء والتعاون، مقدماً مستويات لافتة أسهمت في حضوره المستمر على الساحة الكروية.
كما سبق لعطية ارتداء شعار المنتخب السعودي في أكثر من مناسبة، مستفيداً من خبراته المتراكمة التي جعلته أحد أبرز الحراس المحليين خلال السنوات الماضية.
ويأمل مسؤولو العلا أن يشكل التعاقد مع عبدالقدوس عطية إضافة فنية مهمة للفريق خلال المرحلة القادمة، في ظل الطموحات المتزايدة للنادي للمنافسة وتحقيق نتائج إيجابية في الموسم الجديد.
The international goalkeeper Abdulquddus Atiyah has signed a contract to transfer to Al-Ula Club during the current summer transfer window, coming from the ranks of Al-Taawun, in a move aimed at enhancing the team's technical options before the start of the new season's competitions.
The deal came after intensive negotiations between the management of Al-Ula and their counterparts at Al-Taawun, which concluded with a final agreement for the experienced goalkeeper to join the team, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen the goalkeeper position following the departure of international goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais.
Abdulquddus Atiyah is considered one of the distinguished names in the goalkeeper position, possessing extensive experience in Saudi stadiums, having represented several clubs, including Al-Wehda, Al-Adalah, Al-Fayha, and Al-Taawun, delivering impressive performances that contributed to his continuous presence on the football scene.
Atiyah has also previously worn the Saudi national team jersey on several occasions, benefiting from his accumulated experiences that have made him one of the most prominent local goalkeepers in recent years.
Al-Ula officials hope that signing Abdulquddus Atiyah will be an important technical addition to the team in the upcoming phase, in light of the club's increasing ambitions to compete and achieve positive results in the new season.
