أعلن نادي ريفر بليت الأرجنتيني إتمام تعاقده مع المهاجم الدولي أنخيل كوريا قادماً من تيغريس أونال المكسيكي، في صفقة تمتد حتى ديسمبر 2029، ليعزز الفريق صفوفه بأحد أبرز اللاعبين الأرجنتينيين في السنوات الأخيرة.
ويمتلك كوريا خبرة واسعة على المستويين المحلي والدولي، بعدما بدأ مسيرته مع سان لورينزو، حيث تألق سريعاً وساهم في تتويج الفريق بلقب الدوري الأرجنتيني عام 2013 وكأس ليبرتادوريس 2014، قبل انتقاله إلى أتلتيكو مدريد عام 2015.
وخلال 9 مواسم مع النادي الإسباني أصبح كوريا أحد أكثر اللاعبين مشاركة في تاريخ الفريق، إذ خاض 469 مباراة، سجل خلالها 88 هدفاً، وصنع 65، وأسهم في تحقيق ألقاب عدة، أبرزها: الدوري الإسباني موسم 2020-2021، والدوري الأوروبي 2017-2018.
وفي تجربته الأخيرة مع تيغريس المكسيكي، واصل المهاجم الأرجنتيني تألقه بعدما أحرز 23 هدفاً وقدم 14 تمريرة حاسمة خلال 54 مباراة.
وعلى الصعيد الدولي، كان كوريا ضمن قائمة المنتخب الأرجنتيني المتوجة بكوبا أمريكا 2021 وكأس العالم 2022 وكأس فيناليسيما 2022، وشارك مع المنتخب الأول في 28 مباراة سجل خلالها 3 أهداف.
The Argentine club River Plate announced the completion of its contract with international striker Ángel Correa, coming from Tigres UANL in Mexico, in a deal that extends until December 2029, strengthening the team with one of the most prominent Argentine players in recent years.
Correa has extensive experience at both the domestic and international levels, having started his career with San Lorenzo, where he quickly shone and contributed to the team's victory in the Argentine league title in 2013 and the Copa Libertadores in 2014, before moving to Atlético Madrid in 2015.
During his 9 seasons with the Spanish club, Correa became one of the most featured players in the team's history, playing 469 matches, scoring 88 goals, and providing 65 assists, contributing to several titles, most notably: the Spanish league in the 2020-2021 season and the UEFA Europa League in 2017-2018.
In his recent stint with Tigres in Mexico, the Argentine striker continued to shine, scoring 23 goals and providing 14 assists in 54 matches.
On the international stage, Correa was part of the Argentine national team that won the Copa América in 2021, the World Cup in 2022, and the Finalissima in 2022, and he participated with the senior team in 28 matches, scoring 3 goals.
