أكد المدير الفني للمنتخب المصري حسام حسن رضاه التام عن أداء اللاعبين، رغم الخسارة أمام الأرجنتين بنتيجة 3-2 والخروج من كأس العالم 2026.
وقال حسن في تصريحاته عقب المباراة: «الحمد لله على كل حال. لعبنا مباراة كبيرة وقدمنا مستوى كبيراً. المباراة كانت صعبة على المنتخبين».
وأضاف: «رغم الخسارة إلا أنني فخور باللاعبين وما قدموه خلال المباراة، وفي البطولة عموماً. شكراً للاعبين ولجميع الأجهزة الإدارية والفنية والطبية».
وتوجه المدرب بالشكر لجماهير مصر قائلاً: «أشكر جماهير مصر الكبيرة التي كانت السند الحقيقي لنا في هذه البطولة. ونعدهم بأن المنتخب المصري سيواصل مستوياته المميزة خلال البطولات القادمة».
The head coach of the Egyptian national team, Hossam Hassan, expressed his complete satisfaction with the players' performance, despite the loss to Argentina with a score of 3-2 and being eliminated from the 2026 World Cup.
Hassan said in his statements after the match: "Thank God for everything. We played a great match and delivered a high level of performance. The match was difficult for both teams."
He added: "Despite the loss, I am proud of the players and what they showed during the match, and in the tournament in general. Thank you to the players and all the administrative, technical, and medical staff."
The coach thanked the Egyptian fans, saying: "I thank the great Egyptian fans who were our real support in this tournament. We promise them that the Egyptian national team will continue its outstanding performances in the upcoming tournaments."
