وجه مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم الدعوة الرسمية إلى أعضاء الجمعية العمومية لحضور اجتماع «غير عادي»، لمناقشة عدد من الملفات المهمة، وأوضح اتحاد الكرة في بيانه الذي بثه على منصة «X» أن الاجتماع سيُعقد يوم الأربعاء الموافق 8 يوليو 2026 عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي «عن بعد»، وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
وأكد أنه تم إشعار جميع الأعضاء بتاريخ الانعقاد حسب ما تنص عليه المادة 29 من النظام الأساسي للاتحاد.
ويأتي انعقاد الجمعية العمومية غير العادية في ظل مرحلة مفصلية للكرة السعودية، بعد استقالة رئيس الاتحاد ياسر المسحل، وقبل استضافة المملكة كأس العالم 2034، واستعدادات المنتخب للاستحقاقات القارية القادمة.
The Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation has officially invited the members of the General Assembly to attend an "extraordinary" meeting to discuss several important issues. The Football Federation clarified in a statement broadcast on the "X" platform that the meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, via remote video conferencing, in accordance with the approved procedures.
It confirmed that all members have been notified of the meeting date as stipulated in Article 29 of the Federation's bylaws.
The extraordinary General Assembly meeting comes at a pivotal time for Saudi football, following the resignation of Federation President Yasser Al-Mashel, and ahead of the Kingdom hosting the 2034 World Cup, as well as the national team's preparations for upcoming continental competitions.
