وتأهل منتخب مصر إلى دور الـ32 بعدما احتل المركز الثاني في المجموعة السابعة برصيد 5 نقاط، بفارق الأهداف خلف منتخب بلجيكا متصدر المجموعة، بينما صعد منتخب أستراليا إلى الدور ذاته بعد حلوله وصيفاً للمجموعة الرابعة برصيد 4 نقاط، متأخراً بنقطتين عن منتخب الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
صدام محتمل في ثمن النهائي
ويلتقي الفائز من مباراة مصر وأستراليا مع المتأهل من مواجهة الأرجنتين والرأس الأخضر، في دور الـ16 من مونديال 2026، المقام في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
