شارك الاتحاد السعودي للمبارزة في اجتماع أعضاء اللجان والمجالس الدولية بالاتحاد الدولي للمبارزة (FIE)، الذي استضافته العاصمة البلغارية صوفيا، بممثلين هما عبدالله السنيد عضو لجنة الإعلام والتسويق، ومحمد بو علي عضو لجنة الأساتذة.
واستعرض الاجتماع استراتيجية الاتحاد الدولي للمبارزة، ومؤشرات الأداء، وخطط تطوير الموقع الإلكتروني، إلى جانب اجتماعات اللجان والمجالس المتخصصة، والاجتماعات المشتركة لمناقشة المقترحات المشتركة الهادفة إلى تطوير العمل المؤسسي.
كما ناقش المشاركون عدداً من التعديلات المقترحة على القوانين واللوائح وأنظمة استضافة البطولات والفعاليات، تمهيداً لرفعها إلى الجمعية العمومية للاتحاد الدولي لاعتمادها، بما يسهم في تعزيز الحوكمة وتطوير منظومة رياضة المبارزة على المستوى الدولي.
The Saudi Arabian Fencing Federation participated in the meeting of the members of the committees and international councils of the International Fencing Federation (FIE), hosted by the Bulgarian capital Sofia, represented by Abdullah Al-Sunaid, a member of the Media and Marketing Committee, and Mohammed Bou Ali, a member of the Masters Committee.
The meeting reviewed the strategy of the International Fencing Federation, performance indicators, plans for developing the website, in addition to meetings of specialized committees and councils, and joint meetings to discuss common proposals aimed at developing institutional work.
Participants also discussed a number of proposed amendments to the laws, regulations, and systems for hosting championships and events, in preparation for submitting them to the General Assembly of the International Federation for approval, which contributes to enhancing governance and developing the fencing sport system at the international level.
