أكد محمد وهبي مدرب المنتخب المغربي لكرة القدم جاهزية فريقه لخوض المواجهة الأخيرة في دور المجموعات أمام منتخب هايتي، ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثالثة في نهائيات كأس العالم 2026 المقامة حاليا في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
وقال وهبي، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق المباراة، إن المنتخب المغربي يضع نصب عينيه تصدر المجموعة، مشيرا في الوقت ذاته إلى أنه لا يشعر بقلق كبير بشأن الاحتمالات المرتبطة بمسار الأدوار الإقصائية.
وأضاف: «أفضل أن أحقق الفوز على هايتي وأن أتقدم على البرازيل في المجموعة»، مشيرا إلى أن الفوز على هايتي، التي ودعت البطولة رسميا، سيرفع رصيد المغرب إلى سبع نقاط، ما يمنحه فرصة قوية لانتزاع صدارة المجموعة.
Mohamed Wahbi, the coach of the Moroccan national football team, confirmed his team's readiness for the final match in the group stage against the Haitian national team, as part of Group C in the 2026 World Cup currently taking place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Wahbi stated during the press conference preceding the match that the Moroccan team aims to top the group, while also expressing that he does not feel significant concern about the possibilities related to the knockout stage.
He added: "I prefer to win against Haiti and advance ahead of Brazil in the group," noting that a victory over Haiti, which has officially exited the tournament, would raise Morocco's points to seven, giving them a strong chance to seize the top spot in the group.
