تمنى النجم الدولي السابق قائد فريق الخلود هتان باهبري تحقيق المنتخب السعودي الانتصار على منتخب الأوروغواي في المواجهة الأولى بكأس العالم 2026، مبدياً ثقته في نجوم الأخضر والمدرب دونيس لتقديم صورة فنية تليق بالكرة السعودية، بعد مشاهدة مستويات فنية جيدة في المباريات الودية الثلاث التي خاضها الأخضر أمام منتخبات الإكوادور، وبورتوريكو، والسنغال في البرنامج الإعدادي للمونديال.
وأكد باهبري لـ«عكاظ» أن مباراة المنتخب السعودي أمام نظيره الأوروغواي لن تكون سهلة، مبيناً أن نجوم الأخضر قادرون على تحقيق الانتصار وحصد النقاط الثلاث، مضيفاً أن اللاعبين لديهم القدرة والعزيمة والإصرار على تحقيق الفوز، والظفر بنقاط المباراة «تبقى ثقتنا فيهم كبيرة، وسيظهرون بالصورة الفنية المشرفة التي تؤكد تطور الكرة السعودية».
واختتم حديثه بقوله: «إن نجوم الأخضر يدركون أهمية مباريات كأس العالم 2026، وسيقدمون كل ما لديهم من أجل إسعاد الجماهير السعودية والتأكيد على حضور منتخبنا الوطني بشكل رائع في المونديال».

Bahbari confirmed to "Okaz" that the match between the Saudi national team and their Uruguayan counterparts will not be easy, indicating that the stars of the Green are capable of achieving victory and securing the three points. He added that the players have the ability, determination, and insistence to win and claim the match points, stating, "Our confidence in them remains high, and they will show a commendable technical performance that confirms the development of Saudi football."
