لم تكن الاستغاثات المتكررة والصراخ المنبعث من منزل تلك الأم في قرية «القرشية» المصرية مجرد خلاف عائلي عابر، بل كانت صرخات استنجاد متواصلة من كابوس يتجدد يومياً، فالأم المسنة التي كافحت لسنوات طوال لتربية ولديها، وجدت نفسها في النهاية في مواجهة «شيطان المخدرات» الذي تملك من جسد ابنها وعقله.
القصة التي هزت مركز السنطة بمحافظة الغربية في مصر انتهت بمشهد مأساوي لا يصدقه عقل، فالابن المدمن الذي اعتاد ممارسة البطش والضرب المبرح ضد أمه، لم يتوقف هذه المرة عند حدود الإهانة، بل انهال عليها ضرباً بـ«خرطوم» مسدداً ضربات متتالية لجسدها الضعيف حتى لفظت أنفاسها الأخيرة قبل أن تمتد إليها أيادٍ لإنقاذها!
شهادات الجيران رسمت لوحة سوداوية للواقعة، فالأسرة التي عادت للقرية أخيراً لم تهنأ بالهدوء يومًا، حيث تحول المنزل إلى جحيم لا يطاق بسبب اعتياد المتهم تعاطي المواد المخدرة ومطالبته المستمرة بالمال.
ويروي الأهالي كيف حاولوا مراراً وتكراراً التدخل لفض النزاعات وتوجيه النصح له بالتوقف عن إيذاء أمه، لكن الجحود كان يزداد شراسة مع كل جرعة مخدرة، حتى جاءت اللحظة القاتلة التي أخرست صراخ الأم إلى الأبد.
وفور تلقي الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن الغربية الإخطار، تحركت قوة أمنية برئاسة المباحث الجنائية إلى مسرح الجريمة، وتمكنت من ضبط المتهم «إبراهيم. ع» واقتياده إلى مركز الشرطة.
وبعد معاينة الجثة وتبين وجود إصابات متفرقة وحادة بكامل الجسد، أمرت النيابة العامة بحبس المتهم 4 أيام على ذمة التحقيقات، مع التصريح بدفن الجثمان عقب انتهاء فحوصات الطب الشرعي، واستدعاء شهود العيان لتحري ظروف ملابسات هذه الجريمة البشعة التي قطعت كل أواصر الرحم.

As soon as the security agencies in the Gharbia Security Directorate received the notification, a security force led by the criminal investigations department moved to the crime scene and managed to apprehend the accused "Ibrahim. A" and take him to the police station.
After examining the body and finding multiple and severe injuries all over, the public prosecution ordered the detention of the accused for 4 days pending investigations, allowing for the burial of the body after the forensic examinations were completed, and summoned eyewitnesses to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heinous crime that severed all ties of kinship.
