فاز منتخبا بلجيكا وكندا على كرواتيا وأوزبكستان على التوالي، ضمن استعدادات المنتخبين لخوض منافسات بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026 المقررة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
في المباراة الأولى فاز المنتخب البلجيكي على مضيفه الكرواتي (2-0) في المباراة الودية التي جرت على ملعب «روجيفيكا» بمدينة ريبكا الكرواتية، وسجل يوري تيليمانس وروميلو لوكاكو الهدفين في الدقيقتين (38 و90+6).
وتلعب بلجيكا خلال مشاركتها في نهائيات كأس العالم، التي تقام خلال الفترة من 11 يونيو حتى 19 يوليو، في المجموعة السابعة إلى جانب منتخبات مصر وإيران ونيوزيلندا.
وفي المباراة الأخرى، حقق المنتخب الكندي إحدى الدول الثلاث المضيفة لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026، الفوز على نظيره الأوزبكي (2-0) في المباراة الودية، التي أقيمت اليوم على ملعب «الكومنولث» بمدينة إدمونتون الكندية، وسجل جوناثان أوسوريو، وجايدن نيلسون الهدفين في الدقيقتين (58 و90+1).
وسيخوض المنتخب الكندي مباراته الأولى في كأس العالم ضمن المجموعة الثانية يوم 12 يونيو الجاري أمام البوسنة والهرسك، قبل مواجهة قطر في 19 منه في الجولة الثانية، ثم يختتم مبارياته بمواجهة سويسرا يوم 24 من الشهر ذاته.

In the first match, the Belgian team defeated their Croatian hosts (2-0) in a friendly match held at the "Rujevica" Stadium in the Croatian city of Rijeka, with goals scored by Youri Tielemans and Romelu Lukaku in the (38th and 90+6 minutes).
During their participation in the World Cup finals, which will be held from June 11 to July 19, Belgium will play in Group G alongside the teams from Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand.
In the other match, the Canadian team, one of the three host countries for the 2026 World Cup, achieved a victory over their Uzbek counterparts (2-0) in a friendly match that took place today at the "Commonwealth" Stadium in Edmonton, Canada, with goals scored by Jonathan Osorio and Jayden Nelson in the (58th and 90+1 minutes).
The Canadian team will play its first match in the World Cup within Group B on June 12 against Bosnia and Herzegovina, before facing Qatar on the 19th in the second round, and then concluding their matches against Switzerland on the 24th of the same month.
