بين ليلة وضحاها، تهاوت إمبراطورية الشهرة والبريق الافتراضي لتتحول إلى زنزانة مظلمة وحكم قضائي ينهي أحلام النجومية، في صدمة هزت ملايين المتابعين في العالم العربي، أسدلت محكمة جنايات جبل لبنان الستار على واحدة من أكثر القضايا إثارة للجدل، بإصدار حكم غيابي يقضي بالسجن المؤبد مع الأشغال الشاقة بحق صانع المحتوى والإنفلونسر اللبناني الشهير جورج حنا ديب، المعروف عالمياً على منصات التواصل بلقب «دكتور فود».
الحكم الذي طوى صفحة «تذوق الطعام» وصناعة الشهرة، فتح مكانه سجلاً جنائياً ثقيلاً بتهمة مروعة: مخالفة قوانين مكافحة المخدرات وتصنيع المواد السامة!
من بريق «التريند» إلى دهاليز القضاء
لسنوات طويلة، كان اسم «دكتور فود» مرادفاً للملايين من المشاهدات والتفاعل القياسي على منصتي «تيك توك» و«إنستغرام». واشتهر بعبارته الشهيرة وأسلوبه الخاص في تقييم المطاعم وصناعة المواد الغذائية، حتى بات يمتلك علامة تجارية باسمه تصدر منتجاتها للعديد من الدول.
لكن خلف هذا القناع البراق، كانت الأجهزة الأمنية والقضائية اللبنانية تنسج خيوط قضية من العيار الثقيل. وبرئاسة القاضي إيلي الحلو، وعضوية المستشارين رانيا رحمة ونور الحوت، وبحضور ممثل النيابة العامة، أصدرت المحكمة حكمها النهائي بإدانة «إمبراطور تيك توك» بموجب المادة 125 من قانون المخدرات، معطوفة على المادة 150 الخاصة بـ«تصنيع وتطوير المواد المخدرة».
اللافت في تفاصيل هذه النهاية الدراماتيكية، هو أن الحكم صدر «غيابياً»، إذ تبين أن صانع المحتوى الشهير نجح في التواري عن الأنظار قبل إطباق الخناق عليه وتوقيفه.
وعلى الرغم من المداهمات الأمنية المكثفة والحملات التي نفذتها الأجهزة الأمنية اللبنانية لضبطه، إلا أن «دكتور فود» لا يزال فاراً عن العدالة حتى هذه اللحظة. ووفقاً للإجراءات القانونية المتبعة، فإن العقوبة الصادرة بحقه تظل سارية وواجبة التنفيذ فور إلقاء القبض عليه أو امتثاله طواعية أمام القضاء لإعادة محاكمته حضورياً.
ولم تكن القضية عادية بأي حال من الأحوال، بل وصفتها مصادر قضائية بأنها واحدة من أخطر ملفات المخدرات التي نظرتها المحاكم اللبنانية أخيرا، نظراً لتشعبها ووجود متهمين آخرين ساهموا في إدارة شبكة التصنيع والترويج.
وفور تسريب تفاصيل الحكم القضائي، اشتعلت منصات التواصل الاجتماعي في العالم العربي بموجة عارمة من الصدمة والذهول. وتساءل المتابعون بكثير من الريبة: كيف يمكن لشخص بنى ثروته وشهرته أمام أعين الملايين من خلال الحديث عن الطعام والمنتجات الغذائية، أن يستغل نفوذه وشهرته ليتحول خلف الستار إلى «مصنع للسموم والمخدرات»؟
وبين الشهرة الزائفة والواقع الصادم، يثبت سقوط «إمبراطور تيك توك» من قمة النجومية إلى قاع الأشغال الشاقة المؤبدة، أن حبال الجريمة قصيرة، وأن خلف شاشات الهواتف البراقة قد تختبئ أحياناً كواليس مرعبة تفوق الخيال!
Overnight, the empire of fame and virtual glamour collapsed, transforming into a dark cell and a judicial ruling that ended dreams of stardom, in a shock that shook millions of followers in the Arab world. The Mount Lebanon Criminal Court closed the curtain on one of the most controversial cases by issuing a default judgment sentencing the famous Lebanese content creator and influencer George Hanna Dib, known worldwide on social media platforms by the title "Dr. Food," to life imprisonment with hard labor.
The ruling that closed the chapter on "food tasting" and the fame industry opened a heavy criminal record with a horrific charge: violating drug laws and manufacturing toxic substances!
From the Shine of "Trends" to the Labyrinths of Justice
For many years, the name "Dr. Food" was synonymous with millions of views and record engagement on the platforms "TikTok" and "Instagram." He became famous for his signature phrase and unique style in evaluating restaurants and food products, eventually owning a brand in his name that exports its products to many countries.
But behind this shiny facade, Lebanese security and judicial authorities were weaving the threads of a heavyweight case. Under the presidency of Judge Eli Halou, with the membership of advisors Rania Rahma and Nour Al-Hout, and in the presence of a representative from the public prosecution, the court issued its final ruling convicting the "TikTok Emperor" under Article 125 of the drug law, combined with Article 150 concerning "manufacturing and developing narcotic substances."
Notably, the details of this dramatic ending reveal that the ruling was issued "in absentia," as it turned out that the famous content creator managed to evade capture before the noose tightened around him.
Despite the intensive security raids and campaigns carried out by Lebanese security forces to apprehend him, "Dr. Food" remains at large and evading justice to this moment. According to the legal procedures followed, the sentence issued against him remains valid and enforceable upon his arrest or voluntary appearance before the court for a retrial in person.
The case was by no means ordinary; judicial sources described it as one of the most dangerous drug files that Lebanese courts have recently handled, due to its complexity and the presence of other defendants who contributed to managing the manufacturing and promotion network.
As soon as the details of the judicial ruling were leaked, social media platforms in the Arab world erupted with a wave of shock and disbelief. Followers questioned with much skepticism: How could a person who built his wealth and fame before the eyes of millions by talking about food and food products exploit his influence and fame to turn behind the curtain into a "factory for poisons and drugs"?
