تتجه الأنظار إلى صالة «كوكاكولا أرينا» في دبي التي تحتضن، مساء اليوم اليوم الأحد، نزالات بطولة «فخر العرب» ضمن الموسم الجديد من دوري المقاتلين المحترفين لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وسط مشاركة نخبة من مقاتلي المنطقة وأجواء جماهيرية وإعلامية كبيرة سبقت انطلاق الحدث.
ويشارك المقاتل السعودي أحمد البراهيم في الحدث بمواجهة المصري إبراهيم محمود، بعدما حل الأخير بديلاً لشقيقه خالد محمود، الذي اعتذر عن المشاركة؛ بسبب الإصابة والظروف الدراسية.
وأكد البراهيم جاهزيته الكاملة للنزال، مشيراً إلى أن تغيير المنافس لن يؤثر على تحضيراته، خصوصاً بعد دخوله معسكراً تدريبياً مكثفاً امتد لأكثر من 4 أشهر بين السعودية والبحرين.
وتبرز في البطولة مواجهات عدة مرتقبة، يتقدمها نزال وزن الريشة بين الإماراتي محمد يحيى والتونسي مهدي سعدي، إلى جانب مواجهة الوزن الخفيف بين المغربي صلاح الدين هاملي والجزائري إلياس جيرون، فيما تخوض الإماراتية زمزم الحمادي أول ظهور لها في البطولة أمام المصرية عبير منصور.
كما أعرب المقاتل السعودي البراهيم في تصريحه لوسائل الاعلام، أمس، عن فخره بتمثيل المملكة في واحدة من أبرز بطولات الفنون القتالية المختلطة في المنطقة، في ظل التنامي الكبير للعبة على مستوى الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
All eyes are on the "Coca-Cola Arena" in Dubai, which will host the "Pride of the Arabs" championship this evening, Sunday, as part of the new season of the Professional Fighters League for the Middle East and North Africa, with the participation of a select group of fighters from the region and a large audience and media atmosphere preceding the event.
The Saudi fighter Ahmed Al-Brahim will participate in the event, facing the Egyptian Ibrahim Mahmoud, after the latter replaced his brother Khaled Mahmoud, who withdrew from participation due to injury and academic commitments.
Al-Brahim confirmed his full readiness for the fight, indicating that the change of opponent will not affect his preparations, especially after entering an intensive training camp that lasted more than 4 months between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Additionally, Saudi fighter Al-Brahim expressed his pride in representing the Kingdom in one of the most prominent mixed martial arts championships in the region during his statement to the media yesterday, amidst the significant growth of the sport in the Middle East and North Africa.
