حافظت السعودية على صدارتها لتصنيف الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم لمسابقات الأندية، وفقاً للتحديث الأخير الصادر عن الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم لموسم 2025 - 2026.
وجاءت المملكة في صدارة التصنيف بـ132.545 نقطة، متقدمةً على اليابان صاحبة المركز الثاني بـ120.410 نقطة، فيما حلّت كوريا الجنوبية ثالثةً بـ87.334 نقطة.
ويعكس استمرار صدارة السعودية للتصنيف الآسيوي للعام السادس على التوالي، النتائج المميزة التي تحققها الأندية السعودية في المشاركات القارية، إلى جانب الحضور التنافسي المتواصل لممثلي الوطن في البطولات الآسيوية خلال السنوات الأخيرة، إذ تتصدر المملكة التصنيف الآسيوي منذ 2021.
وبحسب توزيع المقاعد المعتمد من الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم لموسم 2027 - 2028، حصلت الأندية السعودية على الحد الأعلى من المقاعد القارية، بواقع 3 مقاعد مباشرة ومقعدين عبر الملحق في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، إضافةً إلى مقعد مباشر في دوري أبطال آسيا 2.
من جانبه، رفع رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر المسحل، الشكر والعرفان للقيادة على دعمها السخي للقطاع الرياضي، الذي أسهم في تحقيق الرياضة السعودية العديد من المنجزات القارية والدولية، مثمناً جهود وزير الرياضة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز في تسخير الإمكانات كافة، ودعم الأندية السعودية بما يعزز حضورها وتميزها على المستوى القاري.
وأكّد المسحل أن استمرار المملكة في صدارة التصنيف الآسيوي يعكس حجم العمل المتكامل والتطور الذي تشهده الكرة السعودية على مختلف الأصعدة، متمنياً التوفيق لممثلي الوطن في مواصلة تحقيق النتائج الإيجابية والمنافسة على الألقاب القارية خلال المواسم القادمة.
Saudi Arabia has maintained its lead in the Asian Football Confederation's club competitions ranking, according to the latest update issued by the Asian Football Confederation for the 2025 - 2026 season.
The Kingdom topped the ranking with 132.545 points, ahead of Japan in second place with 120.410 points, while South Korea came in third with 87.334 points.
The continued leadership of Saudi Arabia in the Asian ranking for the sixth consecutive year reflects the outstanding results achieved by Saudi clubs in continental competitions, along with the ongoing competitive presence of the nation's representatives in Asian tournaments in recent years, as the Kingdom has led the Asian ranking since 2021.
According to the seat distribution approved by the Asian Football Confederation for the 2027 - 2028 season, Saudi clubs received the maximum number of continental slots, with 3 direct slots and 2 through the playoff in the elite AFC Champions League, in addition to a direct slot in the AFC Champions League 2.
For his part, the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership for its generous support of the sports sector, which has contributed to Saudi sports achieving numerous continental and international accomplishments, praising the efforts of the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, in harnessing all resources and supporting Saudi clubs to enhance their presence and excellence at the continental level.
Al-Mashal affirmed that the Kingdom's continued position at the top of the Asian ranking reflects the scale of integrated work and development that Saudi football is witnessing on various fronts, wishing success to the nation's representatives in continuing to achieve positive results and competing for continental titles in the upcoming seasons.
