أثار رئيس نادي الشباب عبدالعزيز المالك الجدل بعد انتقاده غياب البلجيكي يانيك كراسكو عن قائمة المرشحين لجائزة أفضل لاعب في الموسم، رغم المستويات اللافتة التي قدمها مع الفريق خلال منافسات دوري روشن السعودي.
وكتب المالك عبر حسابه في منصة «إكس»: «من الظلم أن القائمة لا تضم كراسكو، بلغة الأرقام يستحق أن يكون منهم.. ما هي المعايير التي يتم فيها الاختيار؟!»، في إشارة إلى استغرابه من استبعاد نجم الشباب من القائمة النهائية للمرشحين.
