أكد قائد الخلود هتان باهبري لـ«عكاظ» أنه يطمح في تحقيق كأس الملك مع فريقه الحالي، بعد أن حصدها مرتين الأولى مع فريق الاتحاد 2013، وفريق الهلال 2019، وبمشيئة الله يكون اللقب الثالث مع الخلود في إنجاز تاريخي، والأهم التشرف بالسلام على راعي المباراة النهائية.
وأوضح باهبري أن تحقيق كأس الملك من أمام فريق الهلال ليس بالأمر الصعب، وتبقى كرة القدم لا يوجد فيها المستحيل، وسنبذل الجهد الكبير من أجل تحقيق الفوز وحصد كأس الملك الغالي، وتسجيل إنجاز تاريخي بحصد اللقب للمرة الأولى في تاريخ الخلود.
وأشار باهبري إلى أن اللاعبين تعاهدوا على اللعب بروح الفريق الواحد، في المباراة النهائية ضد فريق الهلال، الذي يملك نجوماً عالميين وأفضل العناصر المحلية، وسيقدمون مباراة تليق بالتطور الكبير الذي تشهده الكرة السعودية.
وأبدى باهبري تفاؤله بتحقيق الفوز على فريق الهلال وحصد أغلى الكؤوس المحلية وتقديم الكأس الذهبية هدية لإدارة النادي والجماهير الوفية، ولأسرته وأبنائه سلطان وسعود والجوهرة.
يذكر أن هتان باهبري انضم لفريق الخلود بعقد لمدة موسم رياضي واحد، بعد انتهاء عقده مع نادي التعاون، وسبق أن خاض قبل ذلك 4 تجارب احترافية مع أندية (الاتحاد، والهلال، والشباب، والخليج)، ونجح في حصد البطولات مع فريقي الاتحاد والهلال.

The captain of Al-Khulood, Hattan Bahbari, confirmed to "Okaz" that he aspires to win the King’s Cup with his current team, after having won it twice before—first with Al-Ittihad in 2013 and then with Al-Hilal in 2019. With God's will, he hopes to secure the third title with Al-Khulood in a historic achievement, and most importantly, to have the honor of greeting the sponsor of the final match.
Bahbari explained that winning the King’s Cup against Al-Hilal is not an impossible task, as football knows no limits. We will exert great effort to achieve victory and claim the precious King’s Cup, marking a historic achievement by winning the title for the first time in Al-Khulood's history.
He pointed out that the players have pledged to play with a united team spirit in the final match against Al-Hilal, which boasts world-class stars and the best local talents. They will deliver a match worthy of the significant development witnessed in Saudi football.
Bahbari expressed his optimism about achieving victory over Al-Hilal and winning the most prestigious local cup, presenting the golden cup as a gift to the club's management and loyal fans, as well as to his family and his children, Sultan, Saud, and Al-Jawhara.
It is worth noting that Hattan Bahbari joined Al-Khulood on a one-season contract after his contract with Al-Taawoun ended. He previously had four professional experiences with clubs (Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Shabab, and Al-Khaleej), successfully winning championships with both Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal.
