أجاب الرئيس التنفيذي لرابطة دوري المحترفين السعودي، عمر مغربل، على تساؤلات صحيفة «عكاظ» خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص ببرنامج الاستقطاب، التي تمحورت حول آلية التعامل مع عقود اللاعبين ومغادرتهم.
وفي رده على سؤال بشأن تمديد عقد اللاعب يانيك كاراسكو، وما إذا كان البرنامج سيستمر في تحمل راتبه، أوضح مغربل أن مسألة تضمين عقود اللاعبين ضمن المخصصات المالية تعود إلى إدارة النادي، مشيراً إلى أن على النادي تقديم طلب رسمي لإدراج عقد أي لاعب ضمن البرنامج، وهو الجهة المسؤولة عن اتخاذ قرار تضمين عقد كاراسكو من عدمه.
كما تطرق مغربل إلى تساؤل آخر حول عدم تعويض نادي الشباب بلاعبين بعد مغادرة كل من الحبيب ديالو ورومان سايس، وأكد أن رحيل اللاعبين يُعد شأناً فنياً وإدارياً خاصاً بالنادي، سواء بانتهاء عقودهم أو فسخها، مبيناً أن تبعات هذه القرارات يتحملها النادي بالكامل، ولا تدخل ضمن مسؤوليات برنامج الاستقطاب.

In response to a question regarding the extension of player Yannick Carrasco's contract, and whether the program would continue to cover his salary, Maghrabi clarified that the matter of including player contracts within the financial allocations is up to the club's management, noting that the club must submit an official request to include any player's contract in the program, which is the entity responsible for making the decision on whether to include Carrasco's contract or not.
Maghrabi also addressed another question regarding the lack of compensation for Al-Shabab Club with players after the departures of both Habib Diallo and Romain Saïss, and confirmed that the departure of players is considered a technical and administrative matter specific to the club, whether due to the expiration of their contracts or their termination, explaining that the repercussions of these decisions are fully borne by the club and do not fall under the responsibilities of the recruitment program.
