حقّق فريق جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز لقب بطولة دوري الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية لكرة قدم الصالات، بعد فوزه على فريق جامعة حائل، بنتيجة ( 6-2)، في المباراة النهائية للبطولة التي جمعتهما مساء الجمعة في الصالة الرياضية بجامعة القصيم.
وتوج رئيس الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية خالد بن صالح المزيني، وعميد شؤون الطلاب بجامعة القصيم، الدكتور محمد العجلان، الجامعات الفائزة بالمراكز الأولى، إذ نالت جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز كأس المركز الأول والميداليات الذهبية، ونال لاعبو جامعة حائل كأس المركز الثاني والميداليات الفضية، وحصل لاعبو جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل على كأس المركز الثالث والميداليات البرونزية، بفوزهم بهدف دون مقابل على فريق جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبدالعزيز، التي حلت بالمركز الرابع.
وخلال حفل التتويج، تسلّم الدكتور خالد المزيني درعاً تذكارياً من جامعة القصيم سلمه الدكتور محمد العجلان، الذي استلم بدوره درعاً مماثلاً من الاتحاد بهذه المناسبة، كما كرم الدكتور المزيني، حكام البطولة.
The team from King Abdulaziz University achieved the title of the Saudi University Sports Federation Futsal League Championship after defeating the team from Hail University with a score of (6-2) in the final match of the championship held on Friday evening at the sports hall of Qassim University.
The President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Khalid bin Saleh Al-Muzaini, and the Dean of Student Affairs at Qassim University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, awarded the universities that won the top positions. King Abdulaziz University received the first place trophy and gold medals, while the players from Hail University received the second place trophy and silver medals. The players from Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University secured the third place trophy and bronze medals by winning 1-0 against the team from Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, which came in fourth place.
During the awards ceremony, Dr. Khalid Al-Muzaini received a commemorative shield from Qassim University presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, who in turn received a similar shield from the federation on this occasion. Dr. Al-Muzaini also honored the referees of the championship.
