بعد 24 ساعة من رحيل كريم بنزيما إلى الهلال، وافقت إدارة نادي الاتحاد على إنهاء عقد لاعب خط الوسط الفرنسي نغولو كانتي، وانتقاله لنادي فنربخشة التركي. ويستعد النادي التركي للإعلان عن الصفقة بعد إصرار من النادي واللاعب على إتمام الصفقة المعلقة بسبب خطأ في إدخال بيانات اللاعب عبر نظام «TMS»، إذ أنهى كانتي الفحوصات الطبية تمهيداً لتوقيع عقد انتقاله رسمياً إلى فنربخشة لمدة موسمين مقابل 8 ملايين يورو سنوياً، مقارنة بـ25 مليوناً كان يتقضاها سنوياً مع الاتحاد.
وكان نادي فنربخشة التركي، قد اعتذر لجماهير ناديه عن عدم تمكنه من إتمام صفقة لاعب نادي الاتحاد كانتي؛ بسبب خطأ في إدخال بيانات اللاعب عبر نظام «TMS». جاء ذلك عبر بيان نشره في موقعه الرسمي عبر منصة التواصل الاجتماعي«X» قال فيه: «بناءً على طلب الجهاز الفني، تم التوصل إلى اتفاقات مع اللاعبين، وأُجريت الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة، وحصلنا على الموافقات المطلوبة، وأوفى نادينا بجميع التزاماته كاملةً وفي الوقت المحدد. كما تم تحميل جميع المستندات المتعلقة بتسجيل الانتقالات إلى النظام بشكل صحيح وكامل خلال الفترة المحددة، ونظراً لإدخال النادي الآخر معلومات نظام إدارة الانتقالات «TMS» بشكل خاطئ، لم يتمكن نادينا من إتمام الصفقة خلال فترة التسجيل المحددة. وعليه، طلبنا تمديداً للمهلة، وأجرينا المناقشات اللازمة مع الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم FIFA».
After 24 hours since Karim Benzema's departure to Al-Hilal, the management of Al-Ittihad Club agreed to terminate the contract of French midfielder N'Golo Kanté and transfer him to Turkish club Fenerbahçe. The Turkish club is preparing to announce the deal after insistence from both the club and the player to complete the pending transfer due to an error in entering the player's data through the "TMS" system. Kanté has completed the medical examinations in preparation for officially signing his transfer contract to Fenerbahçe for two seasons at a rate of 8 million euros annually, compared to the 25 million he was earning annually with Al-Ittihad.
Fenerbahçe had previously apologized to its fans for not being able to complete the transfer of Al-Ittihad player Kanté due to an error in entering the player's data through the "TMS" system. This was stated in a statement published on its official website via the social media platform "X," where it said: "Based on the request of the technical staff, agreements were reached with the players, necessary medical examinations were conducted, and we obtained the required approvals. Our club fulfilled all its obligations completely and on time. All documents related to the transfer registration were uploaded to the system correctly and completely within the specified period. However, due to the other club entering the information into the Transfer Management System (TMS) incorrectly, our club was unable to complete the deal within the designated registration period. Accordingly, we requested an extension of the deadline and conducted the necessary discussions with FIFA."
