تفوق القادسية على جاره الخليج 1-0 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد الأمير محمد بن فهد بالدمام مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) في ختام لقاءات الجولة الـ20 من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
جاء هدف اللقاء الوحيد عن طريق مهاجم القادسية الإيطالي ماتيو ريتيغي في الدقيقة 41 من عمر اللقاء.
وشهد اللقاء بداية قوية من الخليج إذ توغل جوشوا كينغ في الدقيقة الثالثة من منتصف الملعب حتى منطقة الجزاء وتجاوز جهاد ذكري، لكن كرته ارتطمت برأس الحارس أحمد الكسار، وخطف كينغ بعدها بدقيقة واحدة، الكرة من بين قدمي ذكري وتقدم كثيراً إلى مرمى القادسية وظهر ناتشو في لحظة التسديد ليخلص الكرة.
عاد القادسية للقاء وشن عدة هجمات تمكن من إحداها المكسيكي خوليان كينونيس من تمرير كرة أرضية لزميله ماتيو ريتيغي ليسددها مباشرةً في المرمى هدفاً للقادسية في الدقيقة (41)، وكاد ريتيغي يضاعف النتيجة في الشوط الثاني بعد هجمة مرتدة مثالية ليسدد كرة قوية، ولكن حارس الخليج موريس تصدى لها وأبعدها لركلة زاوية، ليستمر اللعب دون هجمات خطرة إلى أن أعلن الحكم السلفادوري إيفان بارتون نهاية اللقاء بفوز القادسية بهدف دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق القادسية فوزه الـ13 ويصل للنقطة الـ43 في المركز الرابع، فيما تلقى الخليج الخسارة الثامنة وتجمد رصيده عند 25 نقطة في المركز الثامن.
Al-Qadisiyah triumphed over their neighbor Al-Khaleej 1-0 in the match held at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam this evening (Tuesday) in the final match of the 20th round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The only goal of the match came from Al-Qadisiyah's Italian striker Matteo Retegui in the 41st minute of the game.
The match witnessed a strong start from Al-Khaleej, as Joshua King penetrated from the midfield into the penalty area in the third minute, surpassing Jihad Zikri. However, his shot hit the head of goalkeeper Ahmed Al-Kassar. Just a minute later, King snatched the ball from between Zikri's feet and advanced significantly towards Al-Qadisiyah's goal, but Nacho appeared at the moment of the shot to clear the ball.
Al-Qadisiyah returned to the match and launched several attacks, one of which saw the Mexican Julian Quinones pass a ground ball to his teammate Matteo Retegui, who shot it directly into the net, scoring for Al-Qadisiyah in the 41st minute. Retegui nearly doubled the score in the second half after a perfect counterattack, unleashing a powerful shot, but Al-Khaleej's goalkeeper Morris saved it and deflected it for a corner kick. The game continued without any dangerous attacks until the Salvadoran referee Ivan Barton announced the end of the match with Al-Qadisiyah winning by a goal to nil.
With this result, Al-Qadisiyah achieves their 13th victory and reaches 43 points in fourth place, while Al-Khaleej suffers their eighth loss, remaining at 25 points in eighth place.
