اختتم المنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة اليد مشواره في الدور التمهيدي من البطولة الآسيوية الـ22 للرجال، بتحقيق فوز كبير على نظيره الأسترالي بنتيجة (42-24)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثالثة.
وبهذا الانتصار، تصدر المنتخب السعودي ترتيب المجموعة الرابعة بالعلامة الكاملة بواقع (6) نقاط، بعد تحقيقه ثلاثة انتصارات متتالية على منتخبات إيران واليابان وأستراليا.
ومن المقرر أن تنطلق منافسات الدور الرئيسي يوم الخميس القادم، على أن تتحدد أطراف مجموعة المنتخب السعودي عقب ختام جميع مباريات الدور التمهيدي للبطولة.
ويواصل أخضر اليد مشواره القاري بطموحات كبيرة، ساعياً لمواصلة نتائجه الإيجابية والمنافسة على بطاقة التأهل إلى بطولة العالم، إلى جانب السعي للمنافسة على اللقب الآسيوي.
The Saudi national handball team concluded its journey in the preliminary round of the 22nd Asian Men's Handball Championship with a significant victory over their Australian counterpart, with a score of (42-24), during the third round of matches.
With this victory, the Saudi team topped Group D with a perfect score of (6) points, having achieved three consecutive wins against the teams of Iran, Japan, and Australia.
The main round matches are set to begin next Thursday, with the teams in the Saudi group to be determined after the conclusion of all preliminary round matches in the tournament.
