واحتل منتخب الكونغو الديمقراطية وصافة المجموعة الرابعة برصيد 7 نقاط، خلف منتخب السنغال المتصدر بفارق الأهداف، ليضرب موعداً مع المنتخب الجزائري، الذي ضمن صدارة المجموعة الخامسة قبل مواجهته أمام غينيا الاستوائية في ختام دور المجموعات، اليوم (الأربعاء).
مفاجآت كونغولية
ويمتلك منتخب الكونغو الديمقراطية سجلاً لافتاً ضد المنتخبات القوية في الفترة الأخيرة، إذ فجّر مفاجأة مدوية بإقصاء منتخب مصر من ثُمن نهائي النسخة الماضية بركلات الترجيح، كما حقق مفاجأتين أخريين بالفوز على الكاميرون ونيجيريا في الملحق الأفريقي المؤهل إلى المرحلة العالمية من تصفيات كأس العالم 2026، الشهر الماضي.
«سلاح» الجزائر
في المقابل، افتتح منتخب الجزائر مشواره في البطولة بالفوز على السودان بثلاثية نظيفة، فيما تغلّب على بوركينا فاسو بهدف دون رد في الجولة الثانية، وسجّل نجم الأهلي رياض محرز ثلاثة أهداف من أصل أربعة.
وتستضيف المغرب بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، خلال الفترة من 21 ديسمبر الجاري وحتى 18 يناير القادم، بمشاركة 24 منتخباً.
