عبّر حارس مرمى الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي، الدولي السنغالي إدواردو ميندي، عن سعادته بتجديد عقده مع النادي حتى 2028، مؤكداً اعتزازه بالاستمرار ضمن صفوف الفريق والمساهمة في تحقيق تطلعاته الفنية خلال المواسم القادمة.
وقال ميندي في حسابه في منصة «X» عقب إعلان تجديد العقد: «أنا سعيد جداً بمواصلة المسيرة مع النادي الأهلي للمواسم القادمة، فهذا النادي، وهذا المشروع، وهذا الطموح تعني لي الكثير».
وأضاف: «أشعر بالفخر بانتمائي لهذه العائلة واعتزازي الكبير بتمثيل ألوان النادي، وأتوجه بالشكر للإدارة والطاقم الفني وزملائي في الفريق والجماهير على ثقتهم ودعمهم المتواصل منذ اليوم الأول».
The first team goalkeeper of Al-Ahly Club, Senegalese international Eduardo Mendy, expressed his happiness at renewing his contract with the club until 2028, affirming his pride in continuing to be part of the team and contributing to achieving its sporting aspirations in the upcoming seasons.
Mendy said on his account on the "X" platform following the announcement of the contract renewal: "I am very happy to continue my journey with Al-Ahly Club for the upcoming seasons, as this club, this project, and this ambition mean a lot to me."
He added: "I feel proud to belong to this family and have great pride in representing the club's colors, and I would like to thank the management, the coaching staff, my teammates, and the fans for their trust and continuous support since day one."
