يرى اللاعب الدولي المصري عمر مرموش، لاعب مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، أن منتخب بلاده قادر على التتويج بكأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، وكأس العالم 2026.
ويستعد المنتخب المصري، بقيادة مدربه حسام حسن، لخوض منافسات بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية المقررة إقامتها في المغرب خلال الفترة من 21 ديسمبر الجاري حتى 18 يناير القادم.
وقال مرموش - مبتسماً - في تصريحات لموقع ناديه: «سنفوز بكأس الأمم الأفريقية بالطبع، ثم سنفوز بكأس العالم».
وأضاف النجم المصري: «نريد أن نظهر أنفسنا بصورة جيدة، ويمكننا أن نحلم بالفوز بالبطولة، أو الوصول إلى مرحلة معينة، لن نكتفي بقول «لقد شاركنا في كأس العالم»، مع الفريق الذي نمتلكه، ومع الجودة التي نملكها، وبصفتنا المنتخب المصري، فنحن أفضل فريق في أفريقيا، وفي الصيف القادم، سنشارك في كأس العالم لنتجاوز دور المجموعات، لنُظهر للعالم من نحن، لا لمجرد التواجد».
حلم اللقب الثامن
ويُعد منتخب مصر الأكثر تتويجاً بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية برصيد 7 ألقاب، كان آخرها عام 2010 تحت قيادة المدير الفني الأسطوري حسن شحاتة.
ويطمح حسام حسن (العميد) في قيادة المنتخب المصري نحو استعادة الأمجاد وإضافة البطولة الثامنة إلى خزائن الكرة المصرية.

The Egyptian national team is the most successful in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations, with a total of 7 titles, the last of which was in 2010 under the legendary coach Hassan Shehata.
Hossam Hassan (the captain) aims to lead the Egyptian national team towards regaining glory and adding the eighth title to the treasures of Egyptian football.
