افتتح مانشستر يونايتد التسجيل مبكراً في الدقيقة 13 عن طريق أماد ديالو، قبل أن يعادل أنطوان سيمينيو النتيجة لصالح بورنموث في الدقيقة 40.
وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول، أعاد البرازيلي كاسيميرو التقدم لأصحاب الأرض بتسجيله الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 45+4 لينهي يونايتد الشوط الأول متقدماً بنتيجة 2-1.
انتفاضة بورنموث
ودخل بورنموث الشوط الثاني بقوة، ونجح في قلب الطاولة بتسجيل هدفين متتاليين في الدقيقتين 46 و52، حملا توقيع إيفانيلسون وماركوس تافيرنييه.
إثارة متواصلة
وازدادت المباراة إثارة، إذ أدرك برونو فيرنانديز التعادل لمانشستر يونايتد في الدقيقة 77، قبل أن يضيف ماثيوس كونيا الهدف الرابع بعدها بدقيقتين.
ولم يستسلم بورنموث، ونجح في خطف هدف التعادل عبر إيلي جونيور كروبي قبل ستّ دقائق من نهاية الوقت الأصلي للمباراة.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع مانشستر يونايتد رصيده إلى 26 نقطة في المركز السادس بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي، فيما وصل بورنموث إلى 21 نقطة في المركز الـ13.

Manchester United opened the scoring early in the 13th minute through Amad Diallo, before Antoine Semenyo equalized for Bournemouth in the 40th minute.
Just before the end of the first half, Brazilian Casemiro restored the lead for the hosts by scoring the second goal in the 45+4 minute, ending the first half with United ahead 2-1.
Bournemouth's Resurgence
Bournemouth entered the second half with great energy and managed to turn the tables by scoring two consecutive goals in the 46th and 52nd minutes, signed by Ivanilson and Marcus Tavernier.
Continuous Excitement
The match became even more thrilling as Bruno Fernandes equalized for Manchester United in the 77th minute, before Matheus Cunha added the fourth goal just two minutes later.
Bournemouth did not give up and managed to snatch the equalizer through Ely Junior Kroubi six minutes before the end of regular time.
