بدأ بطل السباحة الأولمبي جريجوريو بالترينييري، مع زملائه الرياضيين أمس، حمل شعلة دورة الألعاب الشتوية ميلانو-كورتينا في إيطاليا، وذلك قبل شهرين على حفل الافتتاح المقرر في 6 فبراير المقبل.
وحمل بالترينييري الشعلة حول مضمار ستاديو دي مارمي في فورو إيطاليكو، ليبدأ رحلة تمتد لمسافة 12 ألف كيلومتر نحو (7500 ميل)، إذ ستمر عبر جميع المقاطعات الإيطالية الـ110 قبل أن تصل إلى ملعب سان سيرو في ميلانو لحفل الافتتاح.
وتقام دورة الألعاب الأولمبية الشتوية في ميلانو كورتينا بين الـ6
إلى 22 فبراير المقبل.
Olympic swimming champion Gregorio Paltrinieri, along with his fellow athletes, began yesterday the torch relay for the Milan-Cortina Winter Games in Italy, just two months before the opening ceremony scheduled for February 6.
Paltrinieri carried the torch around the Stadio dei Marmi track in Foro Italico, starting a journey that spans 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles), passing through all 110 Italian provinces before reaching the San Siro Stadium in Milan for the opening ceremony.
The Winter Olympic Games in Milan Cortina will take place from February 6
to February 22.
