أشاد الاتحاد الدولي للفروسية (FEI) بأداء الطواقم التحكيمية في دوري الأبطال العالمي لقفز الحواجز لفئة الـ5 نجوم ضمن جولة الرياض الختامية لبطولة لونجين العالمية التي أقيمت أمس، وتوج فريق فالكنسفارديونايتد بلقبها.
وبلغ عدد حكام جولة الرياض الختامية (38) حكماً، موزعين على غرفة التحكم، وميدان الإحماء، والساحة، ومصممي الحواجز، واللجنة الطبية، من بينهم حكام سعوديون، هم: محفوظ بن طالب، وعبدالله الدليجان، وأحمد الغامدي، وخالد النهدي، وسمير الجعيد، وعون القحطاني، وعبدالرحمن السالم، وبدر الفايز، وعمر البراهيم، وتوفيق المحسن.
وتضم قوائم الحكام: أنس الحسن، وعلي الشريف، وراغب برقاوي من الأردن، وخليل إبراهيم من الإمارات، وخالد عقيل، ومحمد حليم من مصر.
وأكد الحكم الدولي ابن طالب اعتزازه بإشادة الاتحاد الدولي للفروسية بما حققته المملكة في تنظيم واستضافة البطولات العالمية، مشيراً إلى أن ما تحقق من نجاحات يعود إلى ما تحظى به رياضة الفروسية من دعم واهتمام من الاتحاد السعودي للفروسية بقيادة رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد الأمير عبدالله بن فهد بن عبدالله.
وأضاف أن تطور مستوى التحكيم السعودي من أبرز مؤشرات التقدم، مبيناً أنه في عام 2010 لم يتجاوز عدد الحكام السعوديين الدوليين أصابع اليد الواحدة، واليوم ارتفعت نسبة الحكام الدوليين والمؤهلين والمتميزين بأكثر من 80%، مشيراً إلى أن المملكة كانت في السابق تستقطب الحكام من الخارج لإدارة بطولاتها، بينما أصبحت اليوم دول العالم تستقطب الحكام السعوديين للمشاركة في إنجاح بطولاتها.
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) praised the performance of the judging teams in the 5-star Global Champions League during the final round in Riyadh of the Longines Global Championship held yesterday, where the Valkenswaard United team was crowned champion.
The number of judges for the final round in Riyadh reached (38), distributed among the control room, the warm-up arena, the competition arena, course designers, and the medical committee, including Saudi judges: Mahfouz bin Talib, Abdullah Al-Dulijan, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Khalid Al-Nahdi, Samir Al-Juaid, Aoun Al-Qahtani, Abdulrahman Al-Salem, Badr Al-Faiz, Omar Al-Ibrahim, and Tawfiq Al-Mohsen.
The judges' lists include: Anas Al-Hassan, Ali Al-Sharif, and Ragheb Barqawi from Jordan, Khalil Ibrahim from the UAE, Khalid Aqeel, and Mohamed Halim from Egypt.
International judge Ibn Talib expressed his pride in the FEI's commendation of what the Kingdom has achieved in organizing and hosting global championships, pointing out that the successes are due to the support and attention that equestrian sports receive from the Saudi Equestrian Federation, led by the Chairman Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah.
He added that the development of the level of Saudi judging is one of the most prominent indicators of progress, noting that in 2010, the number of Saudi international judges did not exceed a single hand's fingers, while today the percentage of international, qualified, and distinguished judges has increased by more than 80%. He pointed out that the Kingdom previously attracted judges from abroad to manage its championships, whereas today countries around the world are attracting Saudi judges to participate in the success of their championships.
