رفعت السلطات المحلية في ولاية غوا الهندية مستوى التأهب الأمني استعدادا لمباراة النصر السعودي أمام نظيره غوا الهندي ضمن دوري أبطال آسيا 2، المقررة الأربعاء 22 أكتوبر، على ملعب بانديت جواهر لال نهرو (فاتوردا ستاديوم) في مدينة غوا.
وأفادت التقارير المحلية بأن الأجهزة الأمنية في الولاية كثفت انتشارها الميداني حول الملعب والمناطق المحيطة به، تحسبا للازدحام الكبير المتوقع من الجماهير الراغبة في متابعة اللقاء. كما وجهت السلطات السكان المقيمين في الأحياء القريبة من الاستاد إلى مراجعة مركز شرطة فاتوردا للحصول على تصاريح مرور خاصة تتيح لهم التنقل والدخول والخروج من منازلهم أثناء يوم المباراة.
وتأتي هذه الإجراءات في ظل الإقبال الجماهيري الكبير على حضور اللقاء الذي يجمع أحد أبرز أندية القارة الآسيوية في مواجهة الفريق الهندي، وسط اهتمام إعلامي واسع بزيارة النادي السعودي إلى الهند ضمن مشاركته القارية.
