يطمح ممثل الوطن فريق الهلال لتحقيق الفوز الثالث على التوالي، عندما يتقابل مع ضيفه السد القطري الساعة 9:15 من مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) على ستاد المملكة أرينا في الرياض، ضمن الجولة الثالثة من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025 - 2026.
ويتصدر الهلال ترتيب أندية منطقة الغرب برصيد 6 نقاط من مباراتين، مقابل 4 نقاط لكل من الأهلي والشارقة والوحدة وشباب الأهلي، و3 للغرافة، ونقطتين لكل من السد وتراكتور، ونقطة لكل من الدحيل والشرطة، في حين لا يزال رصيد الاتحاد وناساف خالياً من النقاط.
وكان الهلال فاز في الجولة الأولى على الدحيل 2-1 في الرياض، ثم فاز في الجولة الثانية على ناساف 3-2 في قرشي، في المقابل تعادل السد في الجولة الأولى مع الشرطة 1-1 في بغداد، وتعادل في الجولة الثانية مع الشارقة 1-1 في الدوحة.
ويُعدّ الهلال، حامل اللقب أربع مرات، الفريق الوحيد في منطقة الغرب الذي يمتلك سجلاً مثالياً حتى الآن، في حين استهل السد مشواره بتعادلين في أول جولتين.
ويدخل الهلال المباراة بمعنويات عالية، إذ لم يتعرض لأي خسارة في آخر 13 مباراة على أرضه ضمن البطولة، حقق الفوز في 11 منها على التوالي.
يُذكر، أن الفوز في مواجهة الليلة سيمنح الهلال الرقم القياسي لأطول سلسلة انتصارات متتالية على أرضه في تاريخ البطولة، وهو رقم يتقاسمه حالياً مع نادي يوكوهاما مارينوس الياباني، ومع ذلك، فإن الهلال لم يتمكن من الفوز في آخر مواجهتين أمام السد، بعدما كان قد انتصر في مباراتين قبل ذلك أمام بطل قطر.
أما على الجانب الآخر، فقد بدأ السد موسمه الحالي بداية متعثرة أدّت إلى رحيل المدرب الإسباني فيليكس سانشيز، ليخلفه مواطنه سيرجيو أليغري الذي تولّى المهمة بصفة مؤقتة.
ولا شك أن أليغري يواجه اختباراً في غاية الصعوبة في أولى مبارياته على رأس الجهاز الفني، لكن تحقيق الفوز على الهلال قد يشكل نقطة تحول مهمة في مسار الفريق القطري هذا الموسم.
وتقام الجولة الرابعة من منافسات منطقة الغرب يومي 3 و4 نوفمبر، إذ يلتقي يوم 3 نوفمبر ناساف مع الوحدة في قرشي، والدحيل مع شباب الأهلي في الدوحة، وتراكتور مع الشرطة في تبريز، والغرافة مع الهلال في الريان، ويوم 4 نوفمبر السد مع الأهلي في الدوحة، والاتحاد مع الشارقة في جدة.
ويخوض كل فريق 8 مباريات خلال مرحلة الدوري، على أن يتأهل إلى دور الـ16 أفضل 8 أندية في كل منطقة، إذ تقام مباريات دور الـ16 خلال مارس 2026، في حين تقام مباريات ربع النهائي وقبل النهائي والنهائي بنظام التجمع في السعودية خلال أبريل.

Al-Hilal leads the Western Zone clubs with 6 points from two matches, compared to 4 points each for Al-Ahli, Sharjah, Al-Wahda, and Shabab Al-Ahli, 3 points for Al-Gharafa, 2 points each for Al-Sadd and Tractor, and 1 point each for Al-Duhail and Al-Shurta, while Al-Ittihad and Nasaf still have no points.
Al-Hilal won in the first round against Al-Duhail 2-1 in Riyadh, and then won in the second round against Nasaf 3-2 in Qarshi. In contrast, Al-Sadd drew in the first round with Al-Shurta 1-1 in Baghdad and drew in the second round with Sharjah 1-1 in Doha.
Al-Hilal, a four-time champion, is the only team in the Western Zone that has an ideal record so far, while Al-Sadd started its campaign with two draws in the first two rounds.
Al-Hilal enters the match with high morale, as it has not suffered any losses in its last 13 home matches in the tournament, winning 11 of them consecutively.
It is worth noting that a victory in tonight's match will grant Al-Hilal the record for the longest consecutive home winning streak in the tournament's history, a record currently shared with Japan's Yokohama Marinos. However, Al-Hilal has not been able to win in its last two encounters against Al-Sadd, having previously won two matches against the Qatari champion.
On the other hand, Al-Sadd started its current season with a rocky beginning that led to the departure of Spanish coach Felix Sanchez, who was replaced by his compatriot Sergio Allegri, who took over on an interim basis.
There is no doubt that Allegri faces a very difficult test in his first match at the helm, but winning against Al-Hilal could represent an important turning point for the Qatari team this season.
The fourth round of the Western Zone competitions will take place on November 3 and 4, with Nasaf facing Al-Wahda in Qarshi on November 3, Al-Duhail facing Shabab Al-Ahli in Doha, Tractor facing Al-Shurta in Tabriz, and Al-Gharafa facing Al-Hilal in Al-Rayyan. On November 4, Al-Sadd will face Al-Ahli in Doha, and Al-Ittihad will face Sharjah in Jeddah.
Each team plays 8 matches during the league phase, with the top 8 clubs in each zone qualifying for the Round of 16, which will take place in March 2026, while the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final matches will be held in a gathering format in Saudi Arabia during April.
