اختتمت بجامعة تبوك منافسات بطولة الاتحاد الرياضي للجامعات السعودية للتايكوندو (طلاب) في موسمها الرياضي السادس عشر، بمشاركة أكثر من 20 جامعة وكلية من مختلف مناطق المملكة، وذلك ضمن أنشطة الاتحاد الهادفة إلى تعزيز الرياضة الجامعية وصقل مهارات الطلاب.
وتوَّج وكيل جامعة تبوك للشؤون التعليمية الدكتور ماجد بن صلاح بلعلا، وممثّل الاتحاد الرياضي للجامعات السعودية علي المنيع، الفائزين بالمراكز الأولى، بحضور عددٍ من قيادات الجامعة والاتحاد، وسط أجواء احتفالية عكست روح التنافس الرياضي الشريف بين المشاركين، حيث أسفرت نتائج البطولة عن فوز جامعة الملك خالد بالمركز الأول، تلتها جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز في المركز الثاني، وجاءت جامعة الملك سعود في المركز الثالث، فيما حل قطاع التعليم بالهيئة الملكية بالجبيل في المركز الرابع.
وأعرب الدكتور ماجد بن صلاح بلعلا عن فخره باستضافة جامعة تبوك لهذه البطولة التي تعد إحدى أبرز المنافسات على مستوى الجامعات السعودية، مؤكدًا أن احتضان الجامعة لمثل هذه الفعاليات يسهم في ترسيخ دورها الريادي في دعم الأنشطة الطلابية والرياضية، وتعزيز الشراكة مع مختلف الجهات التعليمية لتحقيق تطلعات رؤية المملكة 2030 في بناء جيلٍ جامعي متكامل القدرات علميًا وبدنيًا.
وتأتي هذه البطولة ضمن الجهود التي يبذلها الاتحاد الرياضي للجامعات السعودية بالتعاون مع جامعة تبوك، في دعم الرياضة الجامعية، واكتشاف المواهب، وتنمية القدرات الرياضية للطلاب، بما يسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في مجالات الرياضة والشباب.

The University of Tabuk concluded the competitions of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Taekwondo Championship (Students) in its sixteenth sports season, with the participation of more than 20 universities and colleges from various regions of the Kingdom. This event is part of the federation's activities aimed at promoting university sports and honing students' skills.
Dr. Majid bin Salah Balala, the Vice President of the University of Tabuk for Educational Affairs, and Ali Al-Munai, a representative of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, awarded the winners of the top positions, in the presence of several university and federation leaders, amidst a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of fair sports competition among the participants. The results of the championship revealed that King Khalid University won first place, followed by King Abdulaziz University in second place, and King Saud University in third place, while the Education Sector of the Royal Commission in Jubail came in fourth place.
Dr. Majid bin Salah Balala expressed his pride in hosting this championship at the University of Tabuk, which is considered one of the most prominent competitions at the level of Saudi universities. He emphasized that the university's hosting of such events contributes to reinforcing its pioneering role in supporting student and sports activities, and enhancing partnerships with various educational entities to achieve the aspirations of Vision 2030 in building a well-rounded university generation both academically and physically.
This championship is part of the efforts made by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation in collaboration with the University of Tabuk, to support university sports, discover talents, and develop students' athletic capabilities, contributing to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030 in the fields of sports and youth.
