أنهى المنتخب السعودي لكرة اليد للشباب، استعداده لدورة الألعاب الآسيوية الثالثة للشباب، التي تستضيفها العاصمة البحرينية المنامة بمشاركة (45) دولة آسيوية.
واشتملت الحصة التدريبية لأخضر اليد، التي أقيمت ضمن معسكر فريق السعودية بالمنطقة الشرقية، على الجانبين الفني والتكتيكي، إضافة إلى تدريبات الإعداد البدني والحديد لرفع المستوى اللياقي للاعبين، إذ من المقرر أن يدشن منتخب اليد مشاركته بالدورة الآسيوية غداً (الأحد)، بمواجهة نظيره المالديفي على صالة الاتحاد البحريني لكرة اليد في أم الحصم.
وكانت قبضة الأخضر، قد وقعت في المجموعة الأولى لمسابقة كرة اليد، إلى جانب البحرين والأردن وهونغ كونغ والمالديف، فيما تضم المجموعة الثانية الكويت وإيران والصين والإمارات وتايلند وكازاخستان.
وعلى صعيد آخر، تعادل المنتخب السعودي لكرة القدم للصالات، مع نظيره البحريني، في لقائهما الودي الذي أقيم في صالة وزارة الرياضة بالدمام، بنتيجة (3-3).
وواصل المنتخب السعودي لألعاب القوى للشباب اليوم، استعداداته اليومية في مدينة الأمير نايف بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية بالقطيف، ومنتخب كرة السلة (3×3) في صالة وزارة الرياضة بالدمام، والمنتخب السعودي للتايكوندو في صالة نادي القادسية بالخبر، كما تدرب فريق كرة الطائرة للصالات في صالة نادي النصر بالبحرين.

The Saudi youth handball team has completed its preparations for the third Asian Youth Games, which are hosted by the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the participation of 45 Asian countries.
The training session for the Green Handball team, which took place as part of the Saudi team's camp in the Eastern Province, included both technical and tactical aspects, in addition to physical conditioning and strength training to enhance the players' fitness levels. The handball team is scheduled to kick off its participation in the Asian Games tomorrow (Sunday) with a match against their Maldivian counterparts at the Bahrain Handball Federation Hall in Umm Al-Hasam.
The Green team has been placed in the first group of the handball competition, alongside Bahrain, Jordan, Hong Kong, and the Maldives, while the second group includes Kuwait, Iran, China, the UAE, Thailand, and Kazakhstan.
On another note, the Saudi national futsal team drew with their Bahraini counterparts in a friendly match held at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam, with a score of 3-3.
The Saudi youth athletics team continued its daily preparations today at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Sports City in Qatif, while the 3x3 basketball team practiced at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam, and the Saudi taekwondo team trained at Al-Qadisiyah Club Hall in Khobar. The volleyball team also trained at Al-Nasr Club Hall in Bahrain.
