أسفرت قرعة البطولة الآسيوية الثانية والعشرين لكرة اليد للرجال، والمؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2027، عن وقوع المنتخب السعودي في المجموعة (D) إلى جانب منتخبات اليابان وإيران وأستراليا، وذلك خلال القرعة التي سحبت في الكويت، بحضور ممثلي الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة اليد، وممثلي المنتخبات المشاركة.
ويتطلع الأخضر السعودي لخطف إحدى البطاقات الأربع المؤهلة لكأس العالم، وذلك خلال منافسات البطولة التي ستستضيفها الكويت خلال شهر يناير القادم، وسط طموحات كبيرة لمواصلة الحضور القوي لكرة اليد السعودية على مستوى القارة الآسيوية.
يذكر أن نتائج القرعة قد أسفرت عن توزيع المنتخبات المشاركة إلى أربع مجموعات، حيث ضمّت المجموعة (A) منتخبات قطر وكوريا الجنوبية وعُمان، فيما ضمت المجموعة (B) منتخبات البحرين والعراق والصين والأردن، وضمت المجموعة (C) منتخبات الكويت والإمارات وهونغ كونغ والهند.

The draw for the 22nd Asian Men's Handball Championship, which qualifies for the 2027 World Cup, resulted in the Saudi national team being placed in group (D) alongside the teams from Japan, Iran, and Australia. This took place during the draw held in Kuwait, in the presence of representatives from the Asian Handball Federation and representatives from the participating teams.
The Saudi Green is looking to secure one of the four qualifying spots for the World Cup during the championship competitions that will be hosted by Kuwait next January, amid great ambitions to continue the strong presence of Saudi handball at the continental level.
It is worth noting that the results of the draw have distributed the participating teams into four groups, where group (A) includes the teams from Qatar, South Korea, and Oman, while group (B) includes the teams from Bahrain, Iraq, China, and Jordan, and group (C) includes the teams from Kuwait, the UAE, Hong Kong, and India.
