الاتحاد السعودي يستضيف مؤتمر الحلم الآسيوي في نسخته الأولى

The Saudi Football Federation hosted the Asian Dream Conference today (Wednesday) in its first edition, chaired by the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa. The conference is organized by the "Asian Dream" Foundation, headed by the Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, with wide participation from football bodies, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
The "Asian Dream" Foundation aims to achieve the maximum social impact of social responsibility initiatives in the Asian Confederation through this conference, in addition to ensuring effective outreach by building more meaningful partnerships with international and local organizations in Asia.
The Board of the "Asian Dream" Foundation is chaired by the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, with members including the former President of the Hong Kong Football Association, Timothy Fok Tsun Ting, the President of the ASEAN Football Federation, Khu Samith, the Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation and Chair of the Social Responsibility Committee, Zhao Zhao, and the Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation and former FIFA Council member, Praful Patel.
The conference opened with a speech from the President of the Asian Football Confederation, who thanked the Saudi Football Federation for hosting the conference events, emphasizing the importance of the Asian Confederation's role in promoting social responsibility and making it an integral part of the mission of the Asian Dream Foundation.
The Asian Dream Conference featured several seminars, starting with a speech from Robert Skinner, the Head of Global Partnerships at the United Nations. A seminar titled "Football is More Than Just a Game" was presented by the Secretary-General of the Asian Dream Foundation, Fahid Kurdani, followed by a seminar titled "Protecting Children's Rights" presented by social and environmental sustainability expert at UEFA, Nicoleta Volti.
The Asian Dream Conference also included a seminar titled "The Role of Football in Development and Sustainability," presented by the President of the European Football Clubs Foundation, Mike Wester, Robert Skinner, and former French national team and Manchester United player, Michael Silvestre. Additionally, Sarah Mukona, Director of Member Associations at the African Football Confederation, Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Director of the Football for All Program in Vietnam, and Erin Rosario, Child Protection Officer at the Asian Football Confederation, presented a seminar titled "Protecting Children and Empowering Youth."
The conference continued with a seminar titled "From the Pitch to Development," presented by the founder of the "ASA Foundation," Lee Hawkins, and a seminar titled "Football for All" presented by Sam Turner, a member of the Board of Trustees of "Para Football," Lee Hawkins, and Vichika Chorb, CEO of the "Indochina Starfish Foundation." Additionally, a seminar titled "Football and Humanitarian Work" was presented by Stephen Renard, the Global Sports Programs Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, while the conference concluded with a seminar on "Sustainability and the Future of Asian Football," presented by Asian Football Confederation consultant Darleen Harrison.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Football Federation will host tomorrow (Thursday) the Asian Football Confederation ceremony, which will take place at the King Fahd Cultural Center, in addition to the Executive Committee meeting of the Asian Confederation, as part of a series of Asian event hosting that has made the Kingdom a leading destination for such events.
