The former president of Al-Ittihad Club, Engineer Jamal Abu Amarah, congratulated King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on the Saudi national team's qualification for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This achievement is not surprising for Saudi football, given the unlimited support from the wise leadership for sports in our country.
Abu Amarah praised the spirit and solidarity displayed by the Saudi national team and commended the continuous attention, follow-up, and motivation from the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, and the technical and administrative staff, which contributed to the "Green" team's qualification for the upcoming World Cup.
The former Al-Ittihad president concluded his statement by saying: "The Saudi fans have proven their loyalty and support for the national team, and they played a significant role in encouraging the players to qualify for the next World Cup, and they deserved the great joy of reaching the World Cup for the seventh time and the third consecutive time."
