أعلن الظهير الإسباني جوردي ألبا، لاعب نادي إنتر ميامي الأمريكي، اعتزاله كرة القدم عقب نهاية الموسم الجاري.
وقال ألبا في فيديو نشره عبر حسابه على موقع «إنستغرام»: «حان الوقت لإغلاق مرحلة بالغة الأهمية في حياتي، لقد اتخذت قرار إنهاء مسيرتي الاحترافية بنهاية هذا الموسم».
وأضاف: «أفعل ذلك بقناعة تامة، ورضى، وسعادة غامرة، لقد سلكت هذا الطريق بكل حماس ممكن، والآن حان الوقت لإغلاق مرحلة وبدء أخرى بأمل كبير».
واستذكر ألبا مسيرته الكروية، قائلاً: «كرة القدم منحتني كل شيء، بفضل زملائي والأندية والأجهزة الفنية، أود أن أشكر الأندية التي شكّلت مسيرتي».
شكر خاص لبرشلونة.. «نادي حياتي»
ووجّه ألبا الشكر لناديه السابق برشلونة، واصفاً إياه بـ«نادي حياتي»، حيث ساعده على الفوز بجميع الألقاب الممكنة، وبلوغ قمة مستواه، وعيش أكثر من عقد لا يُنسى.
ويضم إنتر ميامي ثلاثياً من الجيل الذهبي لنادي برشلونة، هم: ليونيل ميسي، وجوردي ألبا، وسيرجيو بوسكيتس.

Spanish defender Jordi Alba, a player for the American club Inter Miami, announced his retirement from football following the end of the current season.
Alba said in a video he posted on his Instagram account: "It is time to close a very important chapter in my life. I have made the decision to end my professional career at the end of this season."
He added: "I do this with complete conviction, satisfaction, and overwhelming happiness. I have walked this path with all the enthusiasm possible, and now it is time to close one chapter and start another with great hope."
Alba reminisced about his football career, saying: "Football has given me everything, thanks to my teammates, the clubs, and the coaching staff. I would like to thank the clubs that shaped my career."
