يتقابل نادي شباب الأهلي الإماراتي مع ضيفه تراكتور الإيراني غداً (الثلاثاء)، على استاد راشد في دبي، ضمن الجولة الأولى من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
وقد شارك كلا الفريقين في دوري أبطال آسيا (الثاني) الموسم الماضي، وأكدا صعودهما إلى دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة بعد تتويجهما أبطالاً في الدوري المحلي.
ويمتلك الفريقان تاريخاً مشتركاً، حيث تقابلا في دور المجموعات من دوري أبطال آسيا 2015، وفاز كل منهما مرة واحدة، لينتهي الأمر بعد ذلك بشباب الأهلي كوصيف للبطولة.
ويدخل الفريق الإماراتي المباراة بسجل خالٍ من الهزائم امتد لتسع مباريات ضد الأندية الإيرانية.
في المقابل، يسعى تراكتور، الذي توج بلقب الدوري المحلي لأول مرة الموسم الماضي، للحفاظ على سجله الخالي من الهزائم أمام الأندية الإماراتية، إذ لم يخسر في آخر خمس مواجهات معها.
ويتعين على تراكتور الحذر من سردار آزمون، المهاجم الإيراني الذي سجل تسعة أهداف لفريق شباب الأهلي في دوري أبطال آسيا (الثاني) الموسم الماضي.
وتقام الجولة الثانية من منافسات الغرب يومي 29 و30 سبتمبر الجاري، حيث يلتقي يوم 29 أيلول ناساف مع الهلال في قرشي، وتراكتور مع الوحدة في تبريز، والغرافة مع الشرطة في الدوحة، والدحيل مع الأهلي في الدوحة، ويوم 30 أيلول السد مع الشارقة في الدوحة، والاتحاد مع شباب الأهلي في جدة.
ويخوض كل فريق ثماني مباريات خلال مرحلة الدوري، على أن يتأهل إلى دور الـ16 أفضل ثمانية أندية في كل منطقة، حيث تقام مباريات دور الـ16 خلال شهر مارس 2026، في حين تقام مباريات ربع النهائي وقبل النهائي والنهائي بنظام التجمع في المملكة العربية السعودية خلال شهر أبريل.

The Al Ahli Youth Club of the UAE will face its guest Tractor of Iran tomorrow (Tuesday) at Rashid Stadium in Dubai, as part of the first round of the Western Zone competitions in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League.
Both teams participated in the AFC Champions League (second tier) last season and confirmed their promotion to the elite AFC Champions League after being crowned champions in their domestic leagues.
The two teams share a common history, having met in the group stage of the AFC Champions League in 2015, where each won once, ultimately leading to Al Ahli Youth finishing as the runner-up in the tournament.
The Emirati team enters the match with an unbeaten record that has extended to nine matches against Iranian clubs.
On the other hand, Tractor, which won the domestic league title for the first time last season, aims to maintain its unbeaten record against Emirati clubs, as it has not lost in its last five encounters with them.
Tractor must be cautious of Sardar Azmoun, the Iranian striker who scored nine goals for Al Ahli Youth in the AFC Champions League (second tier) last season.
The second round of the Western Zone competitions will take place on September 29 and 30, where on September 29, Nasaf will meet Al Hilal in Qarshi, Tractor will face Al Wahda in Tabriz, Al Gharafa will play Al Shurta in Doha, and Al Duhail will compete against Al Ahli in Doha. On September 30, Al Sadd will play against Al Sharjah in Doha, and Al Ittihad will face Al Ahli Youth in Jeddah.
Each team will play eight matches during the league stage, with the top eight clubs in each zone qualifying for the Round of 16, which will take place in March 2026, while the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final matches will be held in a centralized format in Saudi Arabia during April.
