قاد النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند فريقه مانشستر سيتي للفوز على جاره مانشستر يونايتد في «ديربي مانشستر» بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، بعد إحرازه هدفين في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد الاتحاد ضمن لقاءات الجولة الرابعة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
شهد اللقاء سيطرة مبكرة من مانشستر سيتي الذي تمكن من هز شباك جاره بعد مرور 18 دقيقة فقط، بعد أن لعب جيريمي دوكو كرة عرضية عالية حولها فيل فودين برأسه داخل الشباك هدفاً أول للسيتي (د:18)، وفي الشوط الثاني تألق الهداف النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند بإحرازه هدفين، جاء الهدف الأول بصناعة من اللاعب جيريمي دوكو مجدداً الذي لعب كرة قصيرة من بين ثلاثة مدافعين ليكسر هالاند مصيدة التسلل ويلعبها في المرمى هدفاً ثانياً للسيتي (د:53)، وبعدها بدقيقة واحدة فقط كاد هالاند يحرز هدفاً آخر بعد أن تجاوز الحارس ألتاي بايندير وسدد كرة أرضية ارتطمت بالقائم، ومن تمريرة من برناردو سيلفا من منتصف ملعب فريقه انطلق هالاند بالكرة من منتصف الملعب ليواجه الحارس ويسددها في المرمى هدفاً شخصياً ثانياً وثالثاً لفريقه (د:68)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز مانشستر سيتي بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق السيتي فوزه الثاني ويصل للنقطة السادسة محتلاً المركز الثامن، وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة مضيفه أرسنال، فيما تلقى مانشستر يونايتد الخسارة الثانية وتجمد رصيده عند 4 نقاط في المركز الـ14، وسيواجه في الجولة القادمة ضيفه تشيلسي.

The Norwegian Erling Haaland led his team Manchester City to victory over their neighbors Manchester United in the "Manchester Derby" with a score of three goals to none, after scoring two goals in the match held at the Etihad Stadium as part of the fourth round of the Premier League.

With this result, City achieves their second victory and reaches six points, occupying the eighth position, and will face their hosts Arsenal in the next round, while Manchester United suffers their second loss, remaining at four points in 14th place, and will face their guests Chelsea in the next round.
