ونجح عبدالله الحمدان في تسجيل هدفين في المباراتين الوديتين، أمام مقدونيا حينما سجل الهدف الثاني لينتهي اللقاء بقوز الأخضر 1/2، وضد التشيك حينما سجل هدف التعادل لتنتهي المباراة 1/1، ليؤكد اللاعب أنه ورقة رابحة قبل خوض المنتخب السعودي لمباراتي الملحق الآسيوي المؤهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026، والتي ستقام على ملعب الإنماء بجدة أمام منتخب إندونيسيا الأربعاء 8 أكتوبر القادم الساعة 8:15 مساء، وضد العراق الثلاثاء 14 من الشهر ذاته الساعة 10:30 مساء.
