تعرض النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي، لاعب فريق إنتر ميامي، لإصابة خلال مواجهة فريق نيكاكسا ببطولة كأس الدوريات أجبرته على مغادرة الملعب واستبداله في الدقيقة 11 من عمر المباراة.
سقط ميسي على أرضية الملعب في الدقائق الأولى من اللقاء قبل أن يغادر المباراة بسبب ما يبدو أنها إصابة عضلية. ووفقًا لِما ذكره تقرير لموقع «MiamiHerald»، فإن «التقديرات الأولية تشير إلى إصابة في الجزء العلوي من العضلة الخلفية للفخذ الأيمن، وبما يستلزم العلاج شهرًا على الأقل».
ومن المعروف عن إصابات العضلة الخلفية، أنها تتكون من 3 مراحل، المرحلة الأولى يغيب بسببها اللاعب من أسبوعين إلى 3 أسابيع، والمرحلة الثانية يغيب من 4 إلى 6 أسابيع، أما إذا كانت من المرحلة الـ3 وهي تمزق عضلي كامل، فيكون الغياب على الأقل 3 أشهر.
وشارك بدلاً منه في المباراة مواطنه فيديريكو ريدوندو.
وكان النجم الأرجنتيني قد صنع هدفين في المباراة الأولى لفريقه بكأس الدوريات وكان له دور حاسم في الفوز أمام أطلس بنتيجة (1-2).
وبعد دقيقة واحدة من مغادرته لأرضية الملعب، تقدّم إنتر ميامي بهدف للاعب الفنزويلي تيلاسكو سيغوفيا (ق12)، وذلك في المباراة التي انتهت بفوز ميامي بركلات الترجيح (4-5).
وعانى إنتر ميامي من ضغط مباريات كبير قبل مباراة «كل النجوم»، إذ خاض 9 مباريات خلال 35 يوماً ما بين بطولة الدوري ومونديال الأندية ومن بينها سلسلة من 5 مباريات خلال 15 يوماً.
