حقق منتخب إسبانيا للسيدات إنجازاً تاريخياً بتأهله لأول مرة إلى نهائي بطولة أمم أوروبا، المقامة حالياً في سويسرا، بعد فوز صعب على ألمانيا بهدف دون رد في الوقت الإضافي.
وقدّم المنتخب الألماني أداءً قوياً وعنيداً، أجبر بطلات العالم على خوض شوطين إضافيين، قبل أن تحسم النجمة إيتانا بونماتي -الفائزة بالكرة الذهبية مرتين- المواجهة بتسديدة رائعة في الدقيقة 113، مسجلة أول فوز لإسبانيا على ألمانيا في تاريخ مشاركاتهما بالبطولة الأوروبية.
وكانت ألمانيا تطمح لتعزيز رقمها القياسي بإحراز اللقب الأوروبي للمرة التاسعة، لكنها اصطدمت بالمرشح الأول للتتويج باللقب.
وبهذا الانتصار، تضرب إسبانيا موعداً في النهائي المرتقب مع منتخب إنجلترا، الأحد القادم، في مواجهة تُعد إعادة لنهائي كأس العالم 2023، الذي انتهى لصالح إسبانيا بهدف نظيف.
يُذكر أن إنجلترا بلغت النهائي بعد فوزها الصعب على إيطاليا بنتيجة 2-1 في الوقت الإضافي، الثلاثاء الماضي.
