دخل لاعب نادي الخليج صالح أبو الشامات ضمن اهتمامات نادي الشباب، خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، في إطار خطة النادي لتدعيم صفوفه بعناصر واعدة استعداداً للموسم الجديد من دوري روشن.
وبحسب مصادر «عكاظ»، فإن إدارة الشباب تدرس إمكانية التعاقد معه في حال توفر الشروط المناسبة، خصوصاً في ظل رغبة النادي تعزيز خياراته في بعض المراكز.
إذ نجح أبو الشامات (22 عاماً) في إقناع مدربه السابق الإسباني ميشيل، فشارك في 30 مباراة، وفاز بـ161 مواجهة ثنائية مع لاعبي الفرق المنافسة، وله إسهامات هجومية أيضاً، مع صناعته 38 فرصة، أثمرت 6 منها عن تسجيل أهداف. كما كتب أبو الشامات اسمه في لائحة الهدافين بهدف مهم في جولة الديربيات أمام الاتفاق إبان تجربته الاحترافية مع نادي القادسية.

According to sources from "Okaz," the management of Al-Shabab is considering the possibility of signing him if the appropriate conditions are met, especially given the club's desire to enhance its options in certain positions.
Abu Al-Shamat (22 years old) succeeded in convincing his former coach, the Spanish Michel, as he participated in 30 matches and won 161 duels against players from competing teams.
