تأهل باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي وبوتافوغو البرازيلي لدور الـ16 من كأس العالم للأندية عن المجموعة الثانية، فرغم خسارة بوتافوغو من أتلتيكو مدريد بهدف دون مقابل إلا أنه تأهل بفارق الأهداف وحل ثانياً بعد فوز باريس سان جيرمان (متصدر المجموعة) على ساتل ساونديرز الأمريكي بهدفين دون مقابل في ختام لقاءات الجولة الثالثة للمجموعة الثانية.
على استاد لومن فيلد، تفوق باريس سان جيرمان على نظيره فريق سياتل ساونديرز بهدفين دون مقابل. أحرز هدفَي باريس كفاراتسخيليا (د:35)، وأشرف حكيمي (د:66)، ليحقق باريس فوزه الثاني ويحتل الصدارة برصيد 6 نقاط، وأحرز هجومه 6 أهداف، فيما استقبلت شباكه هدفاً واحداً فقط، فيما تلقى سياتل خسارته الثالثة وغادر البطولة دون أي نقطة، فيما أحرز هجومه هدفين واستقبلت شباكه 7 أهداف.
وعلى ملعب روز بول، وبعد مباراة مثيرة وشيّقة تمكن أتلتيكو مدريد الإسباني من الفوز على بوتافوغو البرازيلي بهدف دون مقابل جاء عن طريق أنطوان غريزمان (د:87)، ليصل أتلتيكو للنقطة السادسة من انتصارين وخسارة وله 4 أهداف وعليه 5 أهداف محتلاً المركز الثالث، فيما احتل بوتافوغو المركز الثاني برصيد 6 نقاط أيضاً، وأحرز هجومه 3 أهداف واستقبلت شباكه هدفين فقط.
وبهاتين النتيجتين، يتأهل بطل دوري أبطال أوروبا باريس سان جيرمان ووصيفه بوتافوغو البرازيلي لدور الـ16 من مونديال الأندية، وسيلاقي باريس وصيف المجموعة الأولى الذي يحتله حالياً إنتر ميامي الأمريكي، فيما سيلاقي بوتافوغو متصدر المجموعة الأولى مواطنه بالميراس.

Paris Saint-Germain from France and Botafogo from Brazil qualified for the Round of 16 of the Club World Cup from Group B. Despite Botafogo's loss to Atletico Madrid by a goal to nil, they advanced on goal difference, finishing second after Paris Saint-Germain (the group leader) defeated Seattle Sounders from the USA by two goals to none in the final matches of the third round of Group B.
At Lumen Field, Paris Saint-Germain outperformed their counterpart Seattle Sounders with a score of two goals to none. The goals for Paris were scored by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (35') and Achraf Hakimi (66'), allowing Paris to achieve their second victory and top the group with 6 points, having scored 6 goals while conceding only 1. Meanwhile, Seattle suffered their third loss and exited the tournament without any points, having scored 2 goals and conceded 7.
At Rose Bowl Stadium, after an exciting and thrilling match, Atletico Madrid from Spain managed to defeat Botafogo from Brazil by a goal to nil, with the goal coming from Antoine Griezmann (87'). Atletico reached 6 points from two wins and one loss, with 4 goals scored and 5 conceded, placing them in third position, while Botafogo also finished second with 6 points, having scored 3 goals and conceded only 2.
With these results, the UEFA Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain and the runner-up Botafogo from Brazil qualify for the Round of 16 of the Club World Cup. Paris will face the runner-up of Group A, currently held by Inter Miami from the USA, while Botafogo will meet the group leader, their compatriot Palmeiras.
