شنت وسائل الإعلام الكولومبية هجوماً لاذعاً وحاداً على لاعب منتخب بلادها مهاجم فريق النصر جون دوران بعد استبعاده من تشكيلة منتخب بلاده، بعد مشاركته أمام منتخب البيرو التي انتهت بالتعادل السلبي، ضمن تصفيات أمريكا الجنوبية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2026.
يذكر أن دوران استبدله المدرب في هذه المباراة بعد نهاية الشوط الأول نتيجة المستوى السيئ الذي ظهر عليه أمام بيرو. وظهرت شائعات عن اللاعب دوران بأنه دخل في شجار مع أحد زملائه في غرفة الملابس، لكن مدرب المنتخب الكولومبي نيستور لورينزو نفى ذلك، وذكر أن استبعاده تم لشعوره بآلام أسفل الظهر.
يذكر أن استبعاده من صفوف منتخب بلاده فتح باباً أمام وسائل الإعلام الكولومبية، حيث وجهت له اتهامات بعدم احترام شعار المنتخب الوطني. وكتب موقع «redmas» تصريحات الإعلامي الكولومبي المعروف خوان فيليبي كادافيد، حيث وجه لـ«دوران» هجوماً عنيفاً وطلب منه عدم العودة لتشكيلة المنتخب حتى نهاية تصفيات كأس العالم 2026.
وأضاف: «فيليبي دوران أمام بيرو كان لاعباً هزيلا وضعيفاً لم يقدم أي مستوى فني يشفع له في البقاء في تشكيلة المنتخب. اللاعب يجب ألا ينضم للمنتخب إلا بعد أن ينضج كروياً وفنياً، وعليه أن يحترم جماهيره، وزملاءه، ومدربه».
